Though Adele has been a household name for well over a decade, it turns out that not all of us have been pronouncing her name correctly. Got it? Watch the video below at around the 21:45 mark to hear the proper pronunciation. Adele is the latest high-profile artist to issue a correction about the pronunciation of their name. “His Fans Are Unlike Any Other Fans”: 5 Harry Styles Openers on What It’s Like to Open for Harry Styles

There’s nothing else quite like a Harry Styles concert. As anyone who has found themself in Harry’s House over the years can attest, these events have their own distinct color. There’s rituals and inside jokes, like the conga line during “Treat People With Kindness.” There are consistent accessories, no matter what city Styles has set up in — boas, sparkles, glitter, and phenomenal suits tend to abound — and the sense of community from arena to arena is tangible. Before the moment Harry Styles steps (or is rolled) onstage, another act has a critical role to play. A support act for Styles has the responsibility of setting the tone and kicking things off for the enormous, eager crowds, often filled with people who have been waiting in their claimed spots in the pit for hours already. As Styl...

Hello? Turns Out We’ve Been Pronouncing Adele’s Name Wrong This Whole Time

Adele took a moment time during a recent Q&A with fans celebrating her luxurious “I Drink Wine” video to praise one questioner who did something hardly anyone has done during the singer’s entire career: pronounce her name right. After screening the visual for a packed house, the star generously took questions for nearly an hour, including one that included the nomenclature revelation. When Annie from London beamed in for a long-distance video question — with a full glass of rosé in hand, naturally — she had a thoughtful question about whether the singer’s perspective on her journey to self love during the recording of her 25 album changed while writing 30. “Cheers babe, luv ya!” Annie said sparklingly. “Where’s she from, Enfield or something? Love that,” Adele asked during the “Happy H...

They’re spicy as f–k!,” she says while snapping gum and manning the sample station for her mouth-singeing line of crunchy snacks in the produce aisle. No, she hasn’t fallen on hard times. The funny promo bit is part of the set-up for “Never Gonna Not Dance Again,” which was produced by Grammy-winners Max Martin and Shellback, who co-wrote the song with P!nk. The track is described in a release as “a euphoric and joyful ode to dancing through the hard...
