Austin City Limits 2021 Weekend 2 Photo Gallery: Duran Duran, Jon Batiste, Megan Thee Stallion and More

Austin City Limits was back at Zilker Park this past weekend for Weekend 2 — and so were we. After providing daily live galleries from Weekend 1, Consequence photographer Amy Price returned to capture all the going-ons of the three-day event. The glory of a two-weekend festival is that on the second go-around, you can capture the sets you missed the first time, like the legends Duran Duran. Weekend 2 also saw performances from Jon Batiste, Marc Rebillet, Leann Rimes, Trixie Mattel, The Hu, and yes, Machine Gun Kelly again. Tank and the Bangas Tap Big Freedia for New Single “Big”: Stream

Tank and the Bangas have returned with their newest single “Big” featuring fellow NOLA native Big Freedia. Mick Jenkins Announces New Album Elephant in the Room, Shares “Contacts”: Stream

Chicago MC Mick Jenkins has shared a fresh single called “Contacts,” which serves as the lead track from his newly announced album, Elephant in the Room. Due out October 29th via Cinematic Music Group, the new LP follows last year’s The Circus EP. The 12-track effort features appearances from serpentwithfeet, Ben Hixon, Tiffany Lance, and Green SLlime, plus production from Saba, Kiran Kai, Thelonious Martin, Tee-Watt, Renzell, and more. According to a press release, Jenkins had completed 60% of the record prior to the pandemic shutdown in March 2020. The extra time gave him time to focus on his personal life, particularly his relationship with his wife. “I haven’t been home for more than three months at a time in seven years,” Jenkins said in a press statement. “It was just a lot...

Baby Keem Announces 2021 US Tour Dates

California rapper Baby Keem is ready to hit the road in support of his new album. He’s just announced a string of US tour dates for the end of 2021 that he’s dubbing, “The Melodic Blue Tour.” Check out the complete list of concerts below. The 12-date trek primarily runs through the West Coast, East Coast, and Texas. Baby Keem will kick things off on November 9th in Santa Ana, California before making stops in cities like Las Vegas, Austin, Dallas, Houston, Boston, Philadelphia, New York, and Los Angeles. Eminem Works Takeout Window at Mom’s Spaghetti’s Grand Opening

Eminem’s Mom’s Spaghetti restaurant opened in Detroit on Wednesday, and a familiar face manned the takeout window: Slim Shady himself. With a sweater clean of vomit, the rapper worked the walk-up window at the alley-set eatery when it first began serving customers on September 29th. As Complex reports, Em served the first 10 customers their takeout containers of spaghetti and meatballs (with a vegan option available!), snapping pictures with fans at the counter.
