Some old hip-hop gems are about to be unearthed. Madlib and Declaime have just announced a new album that’s comprised of previously unreleased songs they recorded together back in the mid-90s. It’s called In the Beginning (Vol. 1) and they’re previewing it with the lead single “All Over the World”, which you can stream below. Looking at the tracklist for In the Beginning (Vol. 1), which spans 13 songs in total, the collection will boast a wide range of vintage material by the two that used to be lost to time on various mixtapes and B-sides. According to a press release, the record serves as a time capsule of sorts — back then, the legendary producer and the underground rapper were neighbors-turned-friends in California — and includes contributions from the Loot Pack and CDP crew members li...

The 20-track project boasts features from Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, the late Pop Smoke, Young Thug, and Roddy Ricch. Other notable contributors include Lil Durk, DaBaby, Rod Wave, and G Herbo. In a Complex interview, Polo reflected on his mindset for the album and beyond. “My motivation is knowing that I always want more for myself, and that there’s always a level up to keep improving,” he explained. “I know that I definitely ain’t reached my ceiling yet, and I know that I’ve got room for improvement on a lot of shit. So I just stay locked in knowing that, and knowing where I want to be 10 years from now: tapped into fashion, and looked at as one of the big names in fashion and an even bigger na...

According to sleuths on Reddit, a mysterious new website (CallMeIfYouGetLost.com) and accompanying billboard seem to be teasing an upcoming album from Tyler, the Creator. Both the site and the marquee include the words “Call Me If You Get Lost” as well as the phone number 1 (855) 444-8888. Give it a ring, and you’ll be treated to a nostalgic backing track, along with a woman’s voice saying things like, “His daddy fine,” “He got his looks from me,” and “Tyler momma crazy.” One user attempted to post the audio on Instagram, and received a note saying “Your video has been removed,” because they didn’t have the rights to “MOMMA TALK by Tyler, the Creator.” This led many to speculate that the snippet is from a song called “Momma Talk”. Additionally, fans who used the inspect element ...

The gameplan is a full-on Whack Attack, with the help of thunderous drums that recall a pep rally marching band. She dribbles between names big names and small, repping a squad that’s “Been winning, just ask Ben Simmons,” with the aid of “Embiid, big steppa stampede.” Even past players come into play, as Whack pauses to foul Allen Iverson for a team that will “Practice from start to finish.” Check out “76” below.
