Pallbearer Announce 10th Anniversary Reissue of Sorrow and Extinction

Pallbearer have announced a 10th anniversary deluxe reissue of their debut album Sorrow and Extinction. The band is teaming up with its original label 20 Buck Spin for the release, which comes in a trio of formats: a triple-LP deluxe edition (shipping September 16th), a double-LP version in multiple colorways (shipping September 1st), and the first-ever cassette release of the album (available now). The deluxe edition is limited to 500 copies and is housed in a foil-stamped slip case. Aqua Announce 25th Anniversary Reissue of Debut Album Aquarium

Get ready to be happy boys and girls, because Aqua have announced a 25th anniversary reissue of their debut album, Aquarium, out September 9th via Universal Music Denmark. The Cure Announce Wish 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition with 24 Unreleased Tracks

The Cure will mark the 30th anniversary of their album Wish by releasing an expanded deluxe reissue on October 7th. Remastered by The Cure’s Robert Smith and Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios, the 3xCD/2xLP set spans 45 tracks, including the original 1992 album plus 21 previously unreleased demos. Also included are the four tracks from The Cure’s 1993 mail-order only cassette Lost Wishes, which have never appeared on CD or digitally, as well as a previously unreleased song called “A Wendy Band” from the 1992 Manor Studio sessions, an alternate mix of live favorite “From The Edge Of The Deep Green Sea,” and a previous unheard live version of “End” from 1992. Regina Spektor has set a release date for and detailed the upcoming 20th anniversary box set of her debut album 11:11. Out on August 26th, the self-released LP has long been unavailable in physical form since the singer-songwriter first dropped it back in July 2001. In addition to a remastered vinyl edition of 11:11 with its original tracklist, the reissue will include a collection of live performances of never-before-heard songs from the era recorded by Spektor’s father — aptly titled Papa’s Bootlegs. In September, Dead Kennedys are releasing a 40th anniversary reissue of their debut album, Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables, but former frontman Jello Biafra isn’t happy about it. In a message posted to the website for his label Alternative Tentacles. the DK co-founder claimed he was “intentionally” left in the dark about the project. “LISTEN BEFORE YOU BUY!! This was done almost totally behind my back. Pavement Unveil Terror Twilight and Spit on a Stranger Reissues: Stream

Happy April 8th to all Pavement fans who celebrate: two long-awaited projects, reissues of 1999’s Terror Twilight LP and Spit on a Stranger EP, are out now on Matador Records, and they’re available to stream below. Pavement first announced they were reissuing their final album back in January. Terror Twilight: Farewell Horizontal compiles a remastered version of the original album, B-sides, home demos, rehearsal tapes, and live recordings from the era on 4xLP and 2xCD editions. In addition, the package features the rough tracks from a scrapped studio session recorded at Sonic Youth’s Echo Canyon studio. In all, the reissue spans 45 songs — 28 of which have never been heard before. The Spit on a Stranger reissue, meanwhile, presses the EP to 12-inch vinyl for the first time. ...
