The Rolling Stones will scrap another European tour date as frontman Mick Jagger recovers from COVID-19 symptoms. The Stones will postpone their scheduled concert this Friday night (June 17) at Wankdorf Stadium in the Swiss capital Bern, a statement reads. The legendary rock band is “deeply sorry for this postponement, but the safety of the audience, fellow musicians and the touring crew has to take priority,” continues the message, issued Tuesday (June 14). Jagger and Co. are expected to be fit for a return to the stage next Tuesday (June 21) when the Stones stop by San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy, and the Switzerland date will be rescheduled at a later time. The Killers played a concert in Manchester, UK on Saturday night, but paused the show when an elderly fan started crowdsurfing. Via NME, frontman Brandon Flowers noticed the man being carried over the barrier at the venue Emirates Old Trafford during the band’s set and wanted to make sure he was OK. Today, organizers finalized the festival’s 2022 lineup with one last round of artist additions. Jack Black and Kyle Gass have released “Tenacious D’s The Who Medley,” a new mashup of Who classics that will benefit Everytown for Gun Safety. “Tenacious D’s The Who Medley” combines The Who’s “Pinball Wizard,” “There’s A Doctor,” and “Go To The Mirror!” into a unique single of its own. In addition to hitting streaming platforms, the medley will be pressed on a 7-inch vinyl — the proceeds of which will go to the gun violence prevention organization.
