Sir Paul McCartney has paid tribute to Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins in a new statement posted to social media. Colombia’s attorney general’s office and National Institute of Forensic Medicine will investigate the circumstances leading to Taylor Hawkins’ death after a preliminary toxicology test found the presence of narcotics in the Foo Fighters drummer’s body. Hawkins, 50, was found dead inside of his hotel room in Bogota, Colombia on Friday, March 25th — hours before Foo Fighters were due to headline a festival in the country.
