Coldplay Announce Latin American Tour Dates with Camila Cabello
Coldplay have expanded their “Music of the Spheres World Tour” with new dates in Peru, Chile, and Brasil. Notably, Coldplay’s September shows in Lima, Peru and Santiago, Chile will feature support from Camila Cabello. In October, Coldplay will play gigs in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, Brasil with H.E.R. But before all that, Coldplay will kick off the North American leg of their “Music of the Spheres World Tour” starting in early May with stadium shows in Texas, Arizona, and California. Further dates are scheduled in Chicago, D.C., New York, Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Tampa. Coldplay will then spend the summer touring Europe. Jack White shared in a new interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe that a collab between him and Jay-Z might be coming out soon. The White Stripes frontman is to release two solo projects this year, the first of which, Fear of the Dawn, is due Friday (April 8). In the interview, Lowe brought up the rumor that White and Jay-Z were “sitting on heat.” “It’s true, but it’s not me who doesn’t finish stuff. I’m not that guy,” White teased. “I’m more the personality, like, I’ll be there tomorrow. So it’s different working styles. Nine Inch Nails Replacing Foo Fighters at Boston Calling 2022
Nine Inch Nails will replace Foo Fighters as the Friday headliner at next month’s Boston Calling Festival. Foo Fighters canceled all of their upcoming tour dates, including their appearance at Boston Calling, following the tragic death of drummer Taylor Hawkins. Instead, Nine Inch Nails will now close out Boston Calling’s opening night on Friday, May 27th. The Trent Reznor-led outfit joins a lineup that includes co-headliners The Strokes and Metallica, as well as Avril Lavigne, HAIM, Run the Jewels, Weezer, Glass Animals, Modest Mouse, Japanese Breakfast, Cheap Trick, and more. Red Hot Chili Peppers performed their very own late-night double feature on Friday, appearing on both The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel Live. For April Fools’ Day, the two late-night hosts traded places, with Fallon hosting Kimmel’s show and Kimmel hosting Fallon’s. For their performance on Kimmel, Chili Peppers ripped through “These Are The Ways” from the roof of Los Angeles’ Roosevelt Hotel.
