5 Designer Shoes I Have on My Summer Wish List, and They’re all Under £400

I’m a shoe person. Granted, I also have a penchant for bags, sunglasses and necklaces, too, but when it comes to accessories, shoes are my kryptonite. I’m a sucker for new styles, I look forward to doing the seasonal switch, and for me, summer sandals are the most exciting part of my beloved collection. Although I’m more than willing to try out new trends, I do tend to stick to my favourites. So much so, I bought Arket’s toe sandals each year for three years from 2019-2021 after I wore them into the ground each season. While I rate the likes of Arket and & Other Stories for shoes on the high street, designer styles often win. And when it comes to picking which pairs to invest in, this is an area of my wardrobe I’m always to spend money on because a) quality wins over quality in this de...

20 High-Street Fisherman Sandals That Come With an Editor’s Approval

Hands down, fisherman sandals are set to be the must-have shoes of the summer. The so-called ‘ugly’ multi-strap style, historically seen on, well, fisherman and probably your dad on a family holiday in the nineties, has been slowly infiltrating the fashion world for the past couple of years. Unsurprisingly, their desirable status was set off by The Row’s iteration and went on to be pioneered by the most stylish influencers. This year, though, you can’t possibly avoid them— on Instagram or in the shops— since they’ve very much trickled (or should I say gushed?) down to the high street, with basically every retailer coming up with their own version for 2022.  You Deserve to Make Money Even When you are looking for Dates Online. So we reimagined what a dating should be. It begi...

Sienna Miller Just Wore the Sandal Trend That’s All Over ASOS and Zara

I am struggling to think of an occasion when I didn’t appreciate (and directly want to copy) an outfit of Sienna Miller’s. Her success rate for influencing myself, or any member of the Who What Wear team, must sit around the 99.9 per cent mark. From casual get-ups that feel effortlessly thrown on to bohemian eveningwear options, her ensembles never feel contrived. Miller’s choices can echo trends but are never slavish to them, and her latest look is yet another masterclass in how to cherry pick the latest items and looks that work for your personal style. Arriving for an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Sienna stepped out onto the streets of NYC in a stunning white, ruched dress that could have easily felt bridal, but with her clever make-under techniques s...

This French-Girl Shoe Trend Is All I Want to Wear This Spring

Their popularity is undoubtedly thanks, in part, to Chanel’s iconic iteration and the effortless French-girl-style connotations that come with them. But it’s also a result of how versatile ballet pumps can be. Dressed up or down, they add a polished finishing touch to any outfit— from a casual T-shirt and cropped jeans to a mini skirt— and I’ll happily claim that a more perfect spring shoe never existed. As boot season comes to an end but it’s not quite time to get your toes out in sandals— ballet flats provide the perfect transitional solution.  As consistently timeless as they are, like any fashion piece ballet flats have seen their place as the industry’s most coveted spring shoe fluctuate season on season. The last few years, for example, loafers have pipped them to the top spot. ...

I’m Calling It—These Sandals Are Going to Be the Shoes of the Summer

As a shopping expert who’s worked in this industry for almost a decade, I have a not-so-hidden talent for being able to predict a trend, and I’m 99.9% sure these sandals are going to be big. Like, huge. Mainly because caged, or fisherman, sandals have been gaining popularity among the fashion crowd for a few years now (unsurprisingly thanks to The Row and its coveted pair). But this is their year, and they’re even popping up on the high street, too.  As the double-strap sporty sandal loses momentum, we need another androgynous style that feels fresh and fulfills the role of balancing out all our pretty dresses, floaty skirts and wide-leg trousers. Enter Gucci’s Elektra, which, compared to Chanel’s Velcro canvas sandals, are so beautifully made in the most expensive...

Zara Has Spoken—These Are the 8 Shoe Trends That Count This Spring

2022 is the year of bright, bold colours—in fact, so many saturated shades were prevalent on the runway, you can throw just about any colour on and know it’ll be “in”. However, if you invest in one hue for spring, I recommend making it trending Kelly green, which Bottega Veneta brought back last year.  You Deserve to Make Money Even When you are looking for Dates Online. I’m Calling It: These Loafers Are the Most Stylish Shoes of 2022

Bridging the gap between scruffy winter boots and toe-baring summer sandals, the loafer is the sleek way to slip into spring. And when style queen Pernille Teisbaek wears the particular pair in question with leather trousers and a knit vest, naturally we’ll all want to re-create this perfect pairing. But for now, loafers with socks also get the seal of approval from fashion editors and influencers everywhere. This clever combo is also a way to wear them in, as we all know a new pair of slip-on shoes needs to soften up to be comfy. However you choose to wear loafers, we’re here to tempt you into trying out the loafer trend with Saint Laurent’s style, along with so many more from the likes of Ganni, Gucci, Tod’s and Prada. This Emma Watson Outfit Makes Me Want to Try the ‘Naked’ Trend

There’s nothing that gets fashion editors’ hearts racing quite like an It shoe, and this season, the fashion gods have delivered with what is sure to be 2022’s buzziest boots. Three words: Jimmy Choo x Mugler. This holy union of fashion collabs only dropped in February, but its designs have already been selling everywhere. And we can certainly see why. Only this week, A-lister Emma Watson was snapped in the brand’s thigh-high boots at a pre-BAFTA party—if this won’t convince you to fall in love with this drop then we don’t know what will.  You Deserve to Make Money Even When you are looking for Dates Online. There are a few clever ways you can step into fresh spring-ready looks, but we believe that a well-chosen accessory or two (or three, who are we kidding?) provides the ultimate game-changer that every wardrobe and fashion-loving person needs. A  beautiful pair of shoes or a perfectly chosen handbag will instantly lift your existing clothes into new territory, and no more-so than during springtime. Why? Well, first and foremost, the fact is that it’s still a bit chilly out there. So where the season’s warmer-weather outfits are on pause, a well-edited selection of add-ons provide all the excitement one could desire and can be implemented right away. Your long-serving winter war...

I Don’t Do Heels, But These High-Street Platforms Are Going Right Into My Basket

If I told you that I found the perfect pair of high-street platform shoes, I would guess that Russell & Bromley wouldn’t be the first place that springs to mind. Historically, it has been known for its well-made, classic shoe offering, but recently, the brand has branched out into more fashion-savvy styles. Think chunky boots, strappy heels and animal-print loafers. We’re so into it. The brand’s latest venture? Platform heels. Coming in pink, cream, black and silver, Russell & Bromley’s fittingly named Flawless style is honestly one of the best platforms I’ve seen on the high street this year. You Deserve to Make Money Even When you are looking for Dates Online. So we reimagined what a dating should be. It begins with giving you back power. G...

I Walked 20,000 Steps In These Heels—and Didn’t Get One Blister

I am not a high heels person and my feet are basically like tissue paper, meaning that I can’t help but roll my eyes whenever anyone tells me any shoes are comfortable, let alone heels. It usually takes me weeks to wear in a new pair of shoes, and so I was prepared for the worst when I attempted to wear some new platform heels. This year stacked, chunky platforms have made a comeback, and so I tried a velvet pair of sandals by Russell and Bromley. The heel is approximately 8.5cm, but they feel really solid to walk in thanks to the 3cm platform. The first time I wore them I lasted seven hours, and so in the ultimate test wore them for two full days of shows for London Fashion Week. I walked 20,000 steps in the heels, and didn’t wish I’d worn flats for a single se...
