Milwaukee Bucks assistant coach Darvin Ham is heading to the City of Angels as the new head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers. According to ESPN Senior NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski, the Lakers will be Ham’s first stint as a head coach and will sign a four-year contract. “Ham made a strong impression on Lakers in several areas, including his championship pedigree, his commanding presence, history of coaching stars and toughness. Ham will start assembling a staff expected to include head coaching experience,” he tweeted. He replaces Frank Vogel who served as the Lakers’ head coach from 2019 up until April 2022. Los Angles Rams star defensive tackle Aaron Donald is fresh off of a Super Bowl win. He has also recently announced he has inked a deal with the artist formally known as Kanye West‘s Donda Sports. The deal makes Donald the first athlete currently playing on a professional team to sign with the organization. He follows in the footsteps of former-Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown. Ralf Rangnick has left Manchester United. The German interim manager has confirmed that he will not be staying following the arrival of former Ajax manager Erik Ten Hag. In a statement, United said, “We would like to thank Ralf Rangnick for his efforts as interim manager over the past six months. By mutual agreement, Ralf will now focus solely on his new role as manager of the Austria national team and will not therefore be taking up a consultancy role at Old Trafford.
