Got loads of cars and properties all over the world. Just going to sit back with a hot blonde and piña colada … I’m retiring, I’m out, this is my final fight, the final countdown, I’m done.” In another pre-fight news conference which Whyte had chosen to miss, Fury claimed that once he is retired from the sport, “it’s done for me, I don’t care what people say.” If he does choose to retire after...
LeBron James is not giving up on the Los Angeles Lakers and he is hoping fans won’t either. Despite the sixth consecutive loss in seven games, James is adamant that the Lakers will still be able to finish the NBA season on a high note. Most recently, the Lakers were defeated by the Dallas Mavericks in a close 109-14 loss. While James led the scoring with 26 points, it was not enough to get the Lakers out of their losing streak. In a post-game interview James kept his head up and told reporters, “We still have games to play. Until you stomp me out, cut my head off, bury me 12 feet under, then I got a chance. So that’s my confidence. Obviously, at the end of the day, we got to come in here and win ball games and we got to play better but as long as we’ve got more games to play, we should hav...

The NFL and insights platform Nielsen teamed up to survey how many people tuned into this year’s Super Bowl LVI and found that an estimated 208 million-plus viewers were watching the game. Back in early February, reports have stated that the recent Championship game is the most-watched show in five years since Super Bowl LI in 2017. Diving into the data, about two-thirds of North America watched as the Los Angeles Rams came out on top with 23-20 against the Cincinnati Bengals although 25% more than the 167 million unique viewers claimed to watch at least one minute of the game. While the Super Bowl is known to garner high viewer ratings each year, this year’s events have received massive attention throughout the globe with nothing short of amazing half-time performances by the likes of Dr....

After another harrowing loss last week to the Los Angeles Clippers, the Los Angeles Lakers may now have to deal with the loss of Anthony Davis to their line-up due to a freak injury. It seems that the Lakers’ fight towards gaining ground in the Western Conference just got a lot more difficult. Davis first sustained the injury in a win over Utah Jazz on February 16. Initially, he was preliminarily diagnosed with an ankle sprain that would keep him out for at least two weeks. After MRIs determined that it was a mid-foot sprain instead, the recovery time expanded to at least four weeks. ESPN reports that there is now a chance that Davis will be out four to five weeks and potentially the rest of the season. The Lakers dropped to 27-32 with Friday’s loss to the Clippers, ninth in the Western Co...
