Acclaimed NFL quarterback Russell Wilson has been confirmed to sign a one-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The news comes after the Denver Broncos recently released him. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Wilson has signed a "team-friendly" one-year contract, in which the Broncos are set to pay $38 million USD of his salary while he dons the black and yellow. In 2024, he is set to be paid $39 million USD. In his last season with Denver, Wilson threw 3,070 yards, 26 touchdowns and eight interceptions last season. In late 2023, the Broncos benched Wilson despite him playing significantly better than in 2022.
