Meta Officially Launches Threads
Mark Zuckerberg and Meta have officially launched its Twitter rival app, Threads. To kick things off, Zuckerberg posted to the text-based app, "Let's do this. Welcome to Threads."While it was set to launch on Thursday morning, the app hit stores a day earlier for users across the world. Threads is now available on the Apple App Store, Google Play Store and as well as online as a website as threads.net. Since the announcement from a couple of days ago, Meta saw its shares increase, rising 3% on Wednesday. Twitter Removes Login Requirement for Viewing Tweets
