Authorities in Coffee County, Tennessee reported an uptick in false 911 calls due to a faulty iPhone safety feature, according to local newspaper WRKN.This past weekend saw approximately 80,000 attendees flood the county to attend the Bonnaroo music festival and during the event, there were reportedly five times the amount of false 911 calls than average.The fake calls were traced back to Apple’s car crash detection feature, which automatically alerts 911 when a device experiences rapid movement.
