/ Nintendo released the first lengthy gameplay video for the upcoming Breath of the Wild sequel. Tears of the Kingdom is only a scant 44 days away. To celebrate the game’s impending arrival, Nintendo dropped a 13-minute mini Direct featuring gameplay and a sneak peek at Link’s new abilities. Tears of the Kingdom, formerly known as The Sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, was originally slated for a 2022 release. (It’s now coming out on May 12th.) Eiji Aonuma, the game’s producer, released a video in March 2022 stating that Nintendo decided to work on the development a little bit longer “in order to make this game’s experience something special.” We can see some of that specialness in today’s gameplay presentation. One of the biggest, most interesting features shown off today ...
/ In its first trailer, Pixar’s upcoming Elemental tells a familiar story with some dazzlingly gorgeous visuals. Thematically, Pixar’s Elemental, from director Peter Sohn, might not seem like the studio’s most imaginative animated feature. But if the movie’s first full trailer is any indication, Elemental’s going to be a mesmerizing visual feat. Elemental tells the story of Ember Lumen (Leah Lewis) and Wade Ripple (Mamoudou Athie), two of the countless citizens who call a sprawling megacity teeming with other elemental beings like them home. With Ember living among her fellow fire people (think Howl’s Moving Castle’s Calcifer) and Wade keeping mostly to his fellow water folk (think Osmosis Jones but drippier), they never expected to meet one another, let alone begin to fall in love. But af...
Over the weekend, Elon Musk identified to his Twitter employee in a company email that the value of the social media platform has dropped significantly since he acquired it for $44 billion USD. The email was viewed by the New York Times, which reported that employees were sent a "new stock compensation program." In the same email, Musk warned employees that Twitter is currently still in a "precarious financial position" and even justified the "radical changes" made at the company, which included the cost-cutting and mass layoffs were all necessary to avoid going bankrupt and to streamline operations. He wrote that despite all this, "Twitter is being reshaped rapidly." However, since Musk took over, Twitter's value has rapidly declined to less than 50% of what it was worth when he acquired ...
Elon Musk is announcing yet another update with Twitter, this time, continuing to double down on catering the social platform towards verified accounts. In a Tweet to his followers, Musk confirms that users will now need a "verified account" in order to appear on Twitter's "For You" page. The update will begin on April 15, coming after Twitter announced it would start dismantling its "legacy" verification system. More than ever, it appears that only companies, government entities or Twitter Blue subscribers can be recommended to those that do not follow the account. He says in this Tweet that this "is the only realistic way to address advanced AI bot swarms taking over." Musk also confirms that verified accounts will only be able to vote in polls for the "same reason." While Musk did annou...

It looks like a new Apple AirPods Pro 2 is on the horizon, according to Apple insider, Ming-Chi Kuo. The Apply analyst took to Twitter earlier last week to let Apple tech fans know that a new set of AirPods Pro might be hitting the market sooner than expected, between the second and third quarter of this year. This time around, the new AirPods are expected to feature the long-awaited USB-C charging port. The rumor was first reported back in October 2022 when Mark Gurman, Bloomberg's Apple insider speculated that the tech giant would be making the changes to shift all its products on the iPhone and other devices to standardizing with the USB-C in order to abide by the European laws. The report indicated that the changes will see the iPhone 15 get the USB-C charging in Fall 2023, and AirPods...
