While the trailer doesn’t reveal much when it comes to season 4, it does feature A LOT of fan-favorite, Captain Price, and does give us a glimpse of the nuke Warzone players located inside the infamous bunker 11 in the game. Players are currently still trying to discover the area’s secrets, but that could all be unveiled when season 4 drops. But as pointed out about Price is the star of the trailer. Source: Presley Ann / Getty Another contender in the streaming wars has arrived. HBO Max officially launched today, and you could be one of the millions who could use the service for free 99. HBO’s new streaming service couldn’t have come at a better time as the country is currently binging and consuming movies at television shows at an alarming pace. You can also throw in exclusive content from DC Comics and WarnerMedia as well as favorite shows like the Living Single ripoff, Friends, Big Bang Theory, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, The Boondocks, and Rick and Morty. Oh, and we can’t forget the recently announce “Snyder Cut” of that super wack ...
Source: Xinhua News Agency / Getty German automaker Volkswagen got themselves in some serious hot water thanks to an ad they thought was cute turned out to be overtly racist. Volkswagen shared the ad in question, promoting its latest vehicle the Golf 8, on its Instagram page. The ad has since been taken down, but in it, two giant white hands can be seen pushing a smaller Black man from a parked VW Golf. The man is eventually flicked by the giant hands into a restaurant named Petit Colon when translated from French means the Little Colonist or Little Settler. Bruh. After being met with well-deserved criticism, the company issued an apology. “We posted a racist advertising video on Volkswagen’s Instagram channel,” the VW brand’s head of sales and marketing Jürgen Stackmann and group head of ...
Source: Bernard Smalls / @PhotosByBeanz Apple fans were very disappointed when it was announced the AirPower charging mat was canceled. Stuck in limbo, Vissles has stepped up to the plate with its 3-in-1 wireless charging mat. Design Source: Bernard Smalls / @PhotosByBeanz Right out the box, you will notice that the device is very light, nothing extraordinarily fancy, and entirely made of plastic. But that don’t let that fool you into thinking it’s poorly made device. The hole which lights up when your phone is placed on the mat is where your Apple Watch charger will go. I do not own Apple’s smartwatch, so I wasn’t able to utilize it. On the back of the device is a USB-C power port. If you are an Apple Watch owner installation of the charger is very easy. Included with the charging m...
In China, virtual tipping provides a widespread, legitimate revenue stream for artists. Some think the pandemic will help (finally) normalize the practice Stateside. Andy Bothwell, a Brooklyn-based artist who performs under the moniker Astronautalis, has an online hub that lists links to his music, social media accounts and merch site. But after the coronavirus pandemic cut off the touring income he relies on to pay his bills, he added two new links to the top of the list: His Cash App and Venmo accounts, allowing fans to send him money directly. “I’m curious to see if I keep it there,” he says. His decision is more than a curiosity. As the pandemic has shut down economies across the globe, many artists are asking fans directly for cash — and music companies like SoundCloud and Spoti...

Source: NetherRealm Studios / WB Games The dream match nerds have always imagined between Hollywood’s most famous cyborgs is a reality once again in Mortal Kombat 11. Today (May.20), WB Games and NetherRealm Studios dropped two new trailers featuring the Kombat Pack 1’s T-800 Terminator and Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath’s new kombatant RoboCop facing off against each other. In each video, both characters showcase what a match between the two cyborgs will look like by showcasing each character’s combos, x-ray attacks, special moves, and, of course, fatalities. Now, this wasn’t the first time the two titular characters have faced off against each other. They battled each other in the 1992 Dark Horse comic book crossover event RoboCop vs. Terminator written by Frank Miller. It was eventually tu...
Source: Activision / Treyarch Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is still growing, but that is stopping Activision from pumping out another new game. News from a very reliable Call of Duty leaker claims that 2020 iteration of the popular first-person shooter will be called Black Ops: Cold War. Twitter user Okami13_, who accurately announced previous COD games like Warzone and Modern Warfare, shared a mock of the 2010’s Black Ops cover art added “Cold War” to it. According to GamesRadar, Okami’s tweet corroborates earlier leaks about the rumored forthcoming shooter, which is reportedly being developed by Treyarch, the same studio behind the first Black Ops game. Sledgehammer was initially tasked to bring the game to consoles, but due to significant production issues, Treyarch took over the projec...

Move aside DJ Roomba, there’s a new housekeeper in town. A total Jedi Knight of a Star Wars fan has reworked Roomba technology to build himself his own R2-D2 machine (which he’s calling R9-D9) — and, yes, it’s the droid we’re looking for. It sweeps. It mops. It even talks. What’s more, it can be yours. The man in question — filmmaker Matthew Scott Hunter — created a complete video breakdown on how he designed the thing using household items and materials. Editors’ Picks Essentially, he took his R2-D2 garbage can, inserted a fan motor for head movements, and added a Bluetooth speaker so it could talk. He even designed the thing to be remotely controlled, which should come in handy when it gets pesky as droids do. Okay, so it’s not exactly a Lego set, and may prove rather difficult for...
Nearly 60 artists in 15 countries participated in the Sony Latin festival. It started as a conference call in the middle of the pandemic. Everyone was on lockdown, but everyone had been doing livestreams and podcasts and performances from home. What could Sony Music Latin Iberia do that was unique and involve different artists? “We felt a full-on festival was something that hadn’t been done,” says Ruben Leyva, senior vice president of artist services and premium content for Sony Music U.S. Latin. By “festival,” Leyva of course meant some sort of livestream of musical performances, as well as featuring artists doing everyday things like cooking and working out. The label then sent asks to artists throughout Sony’s Latin territories, asking for a performan...
From Dua Lipa to Blue Oyster Cult to Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, bands have been figuring out how to perform remotely during the pandemic. Blue Öyster Cult has played its rampaging-beast classic “Godzilla” 2,270 times, in theaters and casinos, at state fairs and festivals — the first time at the Maple Leaf Gardens, in Toronto, on June 21, 1977, and the last time at Robins Theatre, in Warren, Ohio, on March 8. But until late April, the pioneering hard-rock band’s five members had never done it remotely from their homes, during quarantine, mixed together into a YouTube grid of separate rectangular boxes. “We basically treated it like a gig,” says Richie Castellano, the band’s guitarist and keyboardist, who produced the “lock-down” ve...
