Fucked Up’s next album One Day arrives later this month. Ahead of its release, the Toronto punks have announced a run of 2023 tour dates and shared the song “I Think I Might Be Weird.” After performing a handful of shows in their native Canada around One Day‘s release, Fucked Up will head to the UK for a run of dates in March. In April, the band will hit the US, performing in cities like Philadelphia, New York, DC, and Chicago. The tour wraps up May 5th at Cincinnati, Ohio’s Woodward Theater. Cradle of Filth and DevilDriver have announced a March 2023 US co-headlining tour with support from Black Satellite and Oni. Billed as the first leg of the “Double Trouble Live” tour, the initial set of dates kicks off March 8th in Tempe, Arizona, and runs through March 26th, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The route for the first leg of the outing (which promises to be a “world tour,” according to Cradle of Filth frontman Dani Filth) will stick mainly to West Coast and Southwest markets. Animal Collective’s Avey Tare has announced his latest solo album, 7s, will be released on February 17th via Domino. What’s more, he’s mapped out a spring solo tour (grab your tickets here) and shared the lead singles “The Musical” and “Hey Bog.” The new set, which is Dave Portner’s fourth studio effort solely as Avey Tare, was recorded in his hometown of Asheville, North Carolina with producer Adam McDaniel. Father John Misty Announces 2023 North American Tour Dates
Father John Misty has unveiled a brand-new run of North American tour dates for Spring 2023. The shows are in support of Josh Tillman’s latest album, last April’s Chloë and the Next 20th Century. Father John Misty will wrap up the European leg of the tour in Manchester on March 17th. The North American dates begin on April 14th at Charlotte, North Carolina’s Neighborhood Theatre. The following 19 dates will take Tillman through much of New England and the Midwest, including stops in Ithaca, Providence, Cincinnati, Detroit, and more before wrapping things up on May 7th at Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta. Phish Announce 2023 West Coast Tour
Phish have announced a 2023 west coast tour taking place in April. The jam band legends will play eight shows in three cities, starting with a two-night run in Seattle and following that with three-night stands in Berkeley and Los Angeles, California. The New Pornographers have announced their new album, Continue as a Guest, out March 31st as their debut on Merge Records. Along with the announcement, they have mapped out a North American tour (grab your tickets here) with Wild Pink and released a new single titled “Really Really Light.” A.C. Newman produced the 10-track album, which he recorded alongside a lineup of Neko Case, Kathryn Calder, John Collins, Todd Fancey, and Joe Seiders.
