Interpol and Spoon Announce Co-Headlining Tour

Indie rock veterans Interpol and Spoon are going on tour together this summer. The “Lights, Camera, Factions Tour” begins on August 25th in Asbury Park, New Jersey and wraps up with two shows at Portland’s Pioneer Square on September 17th and 18th. The Goon Sax are set to open every show, save for a stop in Toronto, where Metric will play instead. The three week run hits some pretty random places — Providence, Rhode Island and two dates in Ohio stick out — which is probably because both Interpol and Spoon have more extensive headlining tours of their own kicking off in April. Sir Elton John has expanded the North American leg of his “Farewell Yellow Brick Road: The Final Tour” with 11 new dates. The new concerts include additional stadium performances in East Rutherford, New Jersey; Foxborough, Massachusetts; Toronto, Ontario; Vancouver, British Columbia; and Phoenix, Arizona, as well as a third show at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. The McDonald’s-themed Black Sabbath cover band Mac Sabbath are heading out on a Fall 2022 US tour with support from Speedealer and Lung. Lykke Li Announces New Audiovisual Album EYEYE, Shares 2022 Tour Dates

Lykke Li has announced her next album, EYEYE, out May 20th. She’s also shared 2022 tour dates in support of the record. Pronounced “EYE,” the entire album was recorded in the Swedish singer’s Los Angeles bedroom with production by her frequent collaborator Björn Yttling, who last worked with the musician on 2014’s I Never Learn. The vocals were recorded on a handheld $70 drum mic, with the album mixed to tape by Shawn Everett. EYEYE will also be an entire audiovisual experience for fans, with seven looping visuals adding to the story Li is telling on the LP.
