It’s a phrase so nice, their songs say it thrice: “Griselda, Griselda, Griselda.” Now, the three biggest stars of Griselda Records — founder Westside Gunn, his brother Conway the Machine, and their cousin Benny the Butcher — are hitting the road for a 2022 US tour. This marks the first Griselda jaunt since the pre-pandemic days of 2020, and since then, all three members have released a lot of music. Just in the past six months, Benny has dropped the excellent Tana Talk 4, Conway unveiled his Shady debut God Don’t Make Mistakes, and Westside Gunn finished up Hitler Wears Hermes 8, the eighth installment in his ongoing mixtape series. Greta Van Fleet Postpone Remainder of Spring US Tour as Guitarist Struggles with Pneumonia
Greta Van Fleet have decided to postpone the remainder of their spring US tour as band member Jake Kiszka continues to struggle with pneumonia. The guitarist is home after spending four days in the hospital, but the “healing process is long and slower than anticipated.” Originally, both Jake and his twin brother Josh (lead vocals) fell ill last week, forcing Greta Van Fleet to postpone a show in Flint, Michigan, one of five planned gigs in a row in their home state. Then the band announced that Josh had mostly recovered but that Jake was hospitalized with pneumonia, resulting in the postponement of two more shows. Limp Bizkit Announce Spring 2022 US Tour
Limp Bizkit have announced a Spring 2022 US tour in support of their recent comeback album, Still Sucks. The outing will find the rap-metal group playing arenas and theaters, with various support from $not, Wargasm UK, Scowl, Yung Gravy, and Dying Wish. The “Still Sucks Tour” kicks off April 28th in Tampa, Florida, and runs through a May 31st show in Ontario, California. Among the stops is an April 13th gig at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. Florence + The Machine have announced a handful of Spring 2022 tour dates in support of their upcoming album Dance Fever. The brief UK outing kicks off on April 15th in Newcastle, UK, and will also feature intimate shows in Blackburn and London. Florence Welch and company will then make their way across the pond for concerts at Los Angeles Theatre in Los Angeles and Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall in New York City. £1 from each ticket sold in the UK will go to the Choose Love fund, which supports refugees and displaced people globally.
