Bauhaus Announce First US Tour in 16 Years

Goth rock purveyors Bauhaus have announced dates for their first US tour in 16 years. In May, following an appearance at Pasadena’s Cruel World Fest, the band will play headlining shows in Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Denver, and Tempe. They’re also set to play two shows at New York’s Kings Theatre in September. Peter Murphy, Daniel Ash, Kevin Haskins, and David J first reunited in late 2019, playing a trio of shows in Los Angeles. The brief two-week jaunt will include one special show that will find Danzig performing 1990’s Danzig II: Lucifuge in full. The tour kicks off May 5th in Reno, Nevada, and runs through a May 19th show in Austin, Texas. John Mayer can certainly attest to this, as he has tested positive for COVID less than two months after pulling out of a Dead & Company festival appearance due to a positive test. “Whelp. More members of the band tested positive for Covid today, and I was one of them,” Mayer wrote in a statement posted on social media. “This means we have to reschedule the next four shows, which we’ve already rescheduled and posted above.
