Eddie Vedder Announces 2022 Tour with New Band The Earthlings
Eddie Vedder has mapped out a 2022 US tour in support of his new solo album, Earthling, and he’s put together an all-star backing band to join him on the road. As first debuted at Vedder’s Ohana Fest earlier this fall, The Earthlings features drummer Chad Smith (of Red Hot Chili Peppers), guitarist/keyboardist Josh Klinghoffer (of Pearl Jam), bassist Chris Chaney (of Jane’s Addiction), guitarist/vocalist Glen Hansard (of The Swell Season), and producer/guitarist Andrew Watt. Nilüfer Yanya Announces 2022 Tour Dates
Nilüfer Yanya’s got a big year ahead. Earlier this month, the London artist announced her sophomore album PAINLESS, and now, she’s shared a run of tour dates to accompany the record. To coincide with the album’s March 4th release date, Yanya’s tour kicks off March 10th in Scotland. After a trek through Europe, the singer-songwriter hits the States, starting in Austin on April 26th and wrapping up in Portland on May 22nd. UPSAHL Announces First Headlining Tour
Singer-songwriter UPSAHL is continuing her ascent to pop stardom with her first run of headlining US tour dates, plus some sweet spots opening up for K. Flay, Yungblud, and Fletcher. A writer whose credits include Dua Lipa’s “Good in Bed” and Madison Beer’s “BOYSHIT,” UPSAHL released her debut solo album Lady Jesus back in October. Now, she kicks off a tour that extends into May. A stop tonight (November 30th) at The Rickshaw Stop in San Francisco kicks off the US leg, which wraps up in March in Los Angeles. Chicago and Brian Wilson Announce US Co-Headlining Tour
In a collaborative move of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-sized proportions, Chicago will embark on a co-headlining tour with Brian Wilson next summer. The “rock and roll band with horns” and the Beach Boys founder will kick off their 25-date US tour in June 2022. Unless you were going to gigs in the 1970s, this upcoming tour marks maybe one of the only times you’ll be able to hear Chicago’s hits like “Make Me Smile” and “25 or 6 to 4” alongside some Wilson/Beach Boys classics in a live capacity. And, to make things even more exciting, Wilson will be accompanied on stage by fellow Beach Boys members Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin. Ten months after releasing her breakout project Heaux Tales, Jazmine Sullivan is finally taking it on the road. Adele has announced “Weekends with Adele,” a 12-week residency taking place in the Colosseum of Las Vegas’ Caesars Palace Hotel beginning Friday, January 21st, 2022. The powerhouse singer will perform two shows each weekend through Saturday, April 16th, 2022. You can find the full list of dates below. Tickets will go on sale starting Tuesday, December 7th at 10:00 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan Program. Judas Priest Unveil Rescheduled 2022 North American Tour Dates
Judas Priest have rescheduled their 2022 “50 Heavy Metal Years” North American tour. Queensrÿche have replaced Sabaton as the support act for the new dates. Judas Priest were forced to postpone the remainder of their fall tour when guitarist Richie Faulkner nearly died after suffering a major heart emergency during the band’s set at the Louder Than Life fest in September. Faulkner’s aorta ruptured onstage during the band’s last song, and he was rushed to a nearby hospital where he underwent a 10-hour life-saving surgery. Faulkner is now headed toward recovery and Judas Priest appear ready to return to the road in 2022. Laura Jane Grace Announces Headlining Canadian Tour
Not long after releasing her surprise EP, At War with the Silverfish, Laura Jane Grace has mapped out a tour across Canada. The Against Me! vocalist has announced a string of dates up north in March 2022 — as well as one in Buffalo, New York — with support from UK songwriter Lande Hekt and punk duo Mobina Galore. Grace will play Buffalo’s Rec Room on March 3rd before heading off to Montreal, where her tour will then take her through Ottawa, Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary, Vancouver, and more. Snail Mail’s Lindsey Jordan has been forced to postpone her upcoming US and European tour dates due to a vocal cord injury that requires immediate surgery. “I’ve been struggling with my vocal health more and more each year. I lose my voice after a couple days of singing. Robert Plant and Alison Krauss have reunited for Raise the Roof, the follow-up to their 2007 blockbuster covers album Raising Sand. The duo’s second record is out now via Rounder Records. What’s more, the pair has announced an international tour for next year. Recorded right before lockdown with Raising Sand producer T Bone Burnett, Raise the Roof features covers of classic blues, country, folk, and soul music originally sung by the likes of Merle Haggard and The Everly Brothers.
