Lewis Black is hitting the road for a tour in 2022. The comedian has today announced the “Off the Rails Tour,” a US trek that will hit 35 cities from January to May. Black’s upcoming jaunt begins with two nights at Denver, Colorado’s Paramount Theatre on January 21st and 22nd and wraps up at Greensburg, Pennsylvania’s Palace Theatre on May 8th. Some dates are already on sale, and tickets for Minneapolis and Mt. Pleasant will be available in December. Everything else becomes available this Friday, November 19th. The Antlers Drop Surprise Losing Light EP, Announce 2022 Tour
It took The Antlers seven years to release this year’s Green to Gold, but now the duo is back with their second release in nine months. Today Peter Silberman and Michael Lerner surprise released Losing Light, an EP that reimagines four songs from their last record. They’ve also kept the ball rolling with word of their first tour since 2019. Losing Light trades The Antlers’ typical indie rock sound for an electronic edge. Mayhem and Watain Announce 2022 North American Tour
Norwegian black metal legends Mayhem and Swedish black metal veterans Watain are teaming up for a co-headlining 2022 North American tour. Blackened speed metal band Midnight will serve as support. The tour, dubbed “The Sanguine Sodomy of North America,” kicks off March 7th in San Francisco and runs through an April 3rd show in Joliet, Illinois. Canadian rapper Haviah Mighty has released a new mixtape. Stock Exchange, the follow-up to her 2019 album 13th Floor, is out now via Mighty Gang Inc. Killswitch Engage have announced a North American headlining tour with August Burns Red and Light the Torch. The 2022 tour includes rescheduled dates for shows that were missed in 2020 due to the pandemic, as well as several new cities. This trek is of extra significance to longtime Killswitch Engage fans, as it features former Killswitch vocalist Howard Jones with his current band, the aforementioned Light the Torch. Beach House Announce New Album, 2022 Tour Dates
At long last, Beach House have announced a new album. Titled Once Twice Melody, the dream pop duo’s first long player in four years will be released in four distinct chapters, with the first arriving tomorrow (!), November 10th. Chapter two will released on December 8th, followed by chapter three on January 19th. The full album will then be revealed when the fourth and final chapter is published on February 18th. Chicago singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist NNAMDÏ has announced his new EP, Are You Happy, out this Friday (November 12th) via Sooper Records. He also shared the new single “Backseat” as a preview.
