Peter Schmeichel says Spurs winger is a realistic target he’d like Man Utd to sign

Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel has revealed that he would love to see his former club sign Tottenham Hotspur winger Son Heung-min. The Dane was asked during a Q&A session on Twitter which realistic target he would like the Red Devils to land, and he chose the South Korean: Son from spurs https://t.co/M2KGyVKnAI — Peter Schmeichel (@Pschmeichel1) May 18, 2020 Man. Utd have been routinely linked with a Spurs star as boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to boost his squad, but it’s not the player Schmeichel wants. While Son will definitely help improve the Red Devils attack, it’s Tottenham striker Harry Kane that is very much on their radar. The England international has admitted he wouldn’t hesitate to leave North London if the silverware aren’t forthcoming, and he has been tipped ...

Report: Wolves keen on highly rated defender, but face competition from PL giants

Wolves are interested in signing the highly-rated defender Rayan Ait-Nouri. As per Birmingham Mail, Manchester City are keen on the player as well. The 18-year-old is a prodigious talent and he is rated highly across Europe. It will be interesting to see if the Premier League side manages to sign him this summer. Wolves certainly have the resources to pull off a signing like this. However, Angers director Sebastien Larcier believes that the current health crisis could tip things in favour of the selling club. The financial impact of Covid-19 is likely to curb the transfer spending this summer and it could help clubs hold on to their prized assets. Ait-Nouri was a target for Premier League clubs in January as well and there was an offer of around €30m for him. However, the move never materi...

26-yr-old fancies Tottenham move, some of their fans react: ‘Great little player’, ‘Yesss’

Ryan Fraser has been linked with the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham this summer. The 26-year-old Bournemouth winger will be a free agent soon and he will be a man in demand when the window opens. Apparently, the player prefers to join Tottenham in the coming weeks. Fraser has done well in the Premier League for the Cherries and he seems ready to make a step up in his career. A move to Tottenham will allow him to fight for trophies and play at a higher level. Furthermore, Spurs could provide him with European football as well next season. Jose Mourinho has a limited budget this summer and a bargain like Fraser should be at the top of his transfer wish list. If Spurs manage to sign him on a free, it could prove to be a wise investment for them. They will be adding more creativity and depth t...

The Athletic: Newcastle have ‘extensively’ watched 23 y/o player in red-hot form

It will be interesting to see how Newcastle United approach the transfer window once their takeover is completed. The would-be new owners are wealthy, no doubt, and there have been claims that they are willing to invest around £200m on recruitment and infrastructure. At the same time, the global economy has drastically changed due to the coronavirus pandemic and football clubs all over the world will take a cautious approach in the transfer market. Irrespective of who will be in the managerial hot-seat next season (Steve Bruce or any new candidate), the Magpies need to sign a striker. The £40m investment on Brazilian striker Joelinton becomes more baffling by the day given his poor return this season, while the likes of Andy Carroll and Dwight Gayle have made negligible...

‘Cracking player’, ‘Boy can play’ – Some Spurs fans are excited about reported 24-yr-old target

Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has been linked with Tottenham in the recent weeks. According to Football London, the Londoners tried to sign the midfielder in January and they are likely to return for him when the window reopens. Hojbjerg has one year left on his current deal and he could prove to be a reasonable option for Mourinho this summer. The Saints will look to cash in if he doesn’t renew his contract and Spurs would be the ideal destination for him. The Londoners are in desperate need of a player like him. Hojbjerg will help Spurs control games better by recycling possession and helping out defensively. He also has the technical ability to beat the press and set up attacks from the deep. Given the type of direct attackers at Mourinho’s disposal, Hojbjerg’s skillset c...

The 19-year-old has scored 41 goals this season for Salzburg and Dortmund. He could further add to his tally in the remaining games of the season. Liverpool could do with a clinical presence like him. However, a summer move seems extremely unlikely. He joined Dortmund in Janua...

‘Spurs have good links with that agency’: Journalist makes transfer claim on £20m target

Irrespective of where Tottenham Hotspur finish this season, there’s no doubt that Jose Mourinho will be looking to make some changes to the current squad. Ideally, he would want Daniel Levy to hand a massive transfer kitty so that he can rebuild the squad to his own taste. However, the global economy has changed due to the Covid-19 pandemic and clubs will struggle to spend freely. Mourinho may have to operate on a low transfer budget and that is a big challenge for Spurs. One of the players they could be targeting in the summer is QPR’s attacking midfielder Eberechi Eze. In a Q/A session with Tottenham fans, reliable journalist Alasdair Gold has claimed that Spurs have scouted Eze during the season. They have a good relationship with the fellow London club and that could help in any p...
