Watford interested in signing 29-year-old with 63 Premier League goal contributions – report

Watford are lining up a contract offer for Joshua King, who is a free-agent following his release from Everton last month. The Norway international joined the Toffees on a short-term deal from Bournemouth in February, but barely played with just 137 minutes across 11 league games. The club decided against extending his contract beyond June 30, and The Sun journalist Alan Nixon claims that the Hornets are now keen on securing his free transfer. Sportslens view: Watford need more firepower up front on their return to the top-flight, given none of their strikers reached double figures in goals last term. Ismaila Sarr, who is a right winger by trade, stood out for them with 13 goals and 10 assists, but they can’t be overly reliant on him. The Hornets recently signed Andre Fletcher for free, bu...

‘This is terrible news’: Some Liverpool fans really don’t want Klopp to sign 25-year-old attacker

Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter in reaction to links with Wolves winger Adama Traore. Football Insider claimed two days ago that the Reds have actually made an approach to sign the powerful 25-year-old. Jurgen Klopp will undoubtedly be keen to bolster his attacking ranks at Anfield this summer. On his day, Adama is an incredibly potent threat. He just hasn’t been consistent enough over the past 12 months or so. And his poor goals and assists record from last season means that Liverpool moving to sign him would be a really strange decision from Klopp. He racked up just two goals and three assists in 37 Premier League games last season. Liverpool fans really don’t want Adama Traore The general consensus is that Klopp could and should be setting his sights a lot higher than the Wolv...

Report: Spurs star told to find a new club…Levy also ready to sell £25m player this summer

Tottenham Hotspur are expected to operate on a tight budget this summer. While Nuno Espirito Santo will be given funds to bring in the players of his choice, Spurs are also likely to bolster their transfer kitty by offloading a lot of their fringe players. According to reports from The Athletic, Spurs have informed Erik Lamela, Serge Aurier and Moussa Sissoko to find new clubs this summer. Lamela joined the north London club in 2013 from AS Roma. He has made over 250 appearances for the club in all competitions, managing 37 goals. The Argentine has been a long servant at the club, but he has never managed to be the focal point for Spurs in all these years, despite his vast potential. He will only be remembered for his flashes of brilliance – most notably the two rabona goals – and not for ...

Rangers winger Ryan Kent was outstanding for the Gers last season, and he is still wanted by Leeds United. Leeds attempted to lure Kent away from Ibrox in 2020, but Rangers stood firm on their decision not to let him go. It proved to be the right one as Kent played a massive role in helping Rangers lift the Scottish Premiership title last season. The former Liverpool winger bagged 13 goals and 15 assists for the Gers across all competitions, proving his class and quality. According to The Athletic, Leeds still retain an interest in signing Kent from Rangers. Although the Gers are under no pressure to sell their prized assets, there is a concern that they have recouped very little from sales while investing around £40 million since Steven Gerrard took charge three years ago. Glen ...

Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United have been linked with a move for the Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri. According to Mundo Deportivo, the Hammers retain an interest in signing the 24 year old along with their London rivals but the player would prefer to join a bigger club. En-Nesyri has been in outstanding form for the Spanish outfit this past season and there is no doubt that he could improve both West Ham and Tottenham. Both clubs will have to improve their attacking options in the summer and bringing in a quality goal scorer like the Moroccan would be a smart decision. The Hammers were reliant on Michail Antonio as their only goal scorer last season and David Moyes must look to bring in an upgrade this summer. West Ham will be playing in the Europa League and they cannot hope to j...
