Bruce Greenwood to Replace Frank Langella in Netflix’s The Fall of the House of Usher
Bruce Greenwood is replacing Frank Langella in Netflix’s upcoming series The Fall of the House of Usher, Variety reports. Earlier this month, Langella was fired from the show after an internal investigation determined that he “had been involved in unacceptable conduct on set.” It was later confirmed Langella’s misconduct involved making “an inappropriate joke that was sexual in nature.” Greenwood will now star as Roderick Usher in the eight-episode series, which is a modern retelling of Edgar Allan Poe’s story of the same name. Netflix Cancels Space Force After Two Seasons
Netflix has canceled Steve Carell’s comedy series Space Force after two seasons, as first reported by Deadline. The decision comes just two months after Season 2 debuted on February 18th. Reuniting Carell with The Office creator Greg Daniels, Space Force also starred John Malkovich and Ben Schwartz. Space Force was a workplace comedy centering around a group of people tasked with establishing the sixth branch of the United States Armed Forces, which was formed under President Trump and continued under the new administration. James Corden’s tenure as host of the Late Late Show is coming to an end. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Corden has signed a one-year contract extension that will keep him with CBS for a final season in 2023-2023. The British actor and comedian became host of the Late Late Show in 2015 after assuming the role from Craig Ferguson.
