“Hi — good to see you!” Farrah arrived at the Teen Mom: Family Reunion during tonight’s episode, uttering the greeting mentioned above as she surprised Amber, Gary, Cheyenne, Zach, Cory, Jade, Chau, Ashley, Bar, Leah and Maci (Briana and Brittany were returning from the hospital after Bri suffered from dehydration). The group had just had a toast led by Amber to “have some fun” when, suddenly, that familiar face turned the corner. While the episode ended before the cast officially greeted Farrah, Cory some people looked quite shocked when Sophia’s mom walked up. “I don’t think anyone knows I’m coming to this reunion,” Farrah stated in a confessional interview before the evening began. “I mean, what if I didn’t sh...

Briana’s family reunion just took an unexpected (and scary) turn: The teen mom of two is rushed to the hospital in a sneak peek of tomorrow’s episode. “I need some help — I can’t breathe,” she repeatedly states after she overly exerts herself in a friendly group obstacle course (organized by new arrival Cory). “I need oxygen.” Paramedics immediately help Briana; she tells them that she does not have asthma, and they check her lungs. Devoin is understandably concerned for Nova’s mom as he observes the incident unfold, and Brittany accompanies her sister to the hospital. “In through your nose, out through your mouth,” Brittany instructs Bri as they are in the car. “Are you passing out? What are you doing?” Is Britt...

More than fifteen years after Bob Odenkirk and David Cross reinvented sketch comedy with their seminal program Mr. Show, they’ll reunite as rival cult leaders in Guru Nation, a scripted mockumentary series coming to Paramount+. Guru Nation was co-created by the two stars alongside Bob’s brother Bill Odenkirk, a veteran comedy writer with credits on The Simpsons, Futurama, and Disenchanted. Jason Woliner, best known for helming 2020’s Borat Subsequent Moviefim, will direct. The episodes will run for 30 minutes, and a press release notes that the titular gurus will try to get at each other by “manipulating the minds of their deluded followers.” Advertisement The two Mr. Show vets last reunited for the Mr. Show Zoomtacular Annual Business Call Even...
There are shows that succeed, shows that explode, and shows that take over large swaths of the internet immediately after their release. Peacemaker is all three. From its intro sequence (which is probably the best one on television right now) to its character development, James Gunn’s signature blend of action and humor works perfectly for the newest HBO Max DC series. But aside from John Cena shocking the world with his comedic timing and the generally flawless supporting cast, one of the finest aspects of the show (and something which Gunn always takes very seriously) is its soundtrack. Composed by the same duo of veterans who handled HBO Max’s other live-action DC shows like Titans and Doom Patrol, Kevin Kiner and Clint Mansell, Peacemaker sounds every bit as good as any other Gunn-helm...

If you’re not having fun yet with the highly-anticipated revival of Party Down, the latest casting announcements might do the trick: Jennifer Garner has joined the show as a regular, while James Marsden has booked a recurring guest role. Both characters arrive with the glow of real Hollywood success that eludes so much of the Party Down catering crew. Garner plays “Evie,” described as “a successful producer of studio franchise movies, who, in the wake of a breakup, is reconsidering her life choices.” That includes dating Henry Pollard (Adam Scott), and you can imagine how a relationship with a high-powered producer might affect his ongoing existential crisis. As for Marsden, he’s been cast as “Jack Botty,” the handsome star of a popular superhero franchise. He is noted to be someone w...
