There are only two words that can aptly describe the state of the once-mighty Big Brother alliance on the latest season of The Challenge: Spies, Lies and Allies: Sibling rivalry. The long-running CBS show, which produced a decisive Double Agents winner (Amber), two of its finalists (Kaycee and Fessy) and one of the most memorable Challenge comedians (Da’Vonne), has served as the bedrock for implicit Challenge alliances since Vendettas aired in 2017. But unspoken brotherhood came crashing down on the most recent episode of MTV’s competition series when Fessy — who feared a looming counter strike from Amber as retribution for hoodwinking her on Double Agents — decided to strike first. The only problem? Amber had no such plans. In fact, she was eager to bury the hatchet and work alongside Kay...
HBO Max has unveiled the trailer for Season 3 of Doom Patrol, and it’s a trip. The clip kicks off with the arrival of Madame Rouge (Michelle Gomez), who introduces herself after burrowing up from below the street in her giant time machine. “Now here’s what I do know: I seem to have traveled here via time travel capsule,” she tells the ragtag group of superheroes at the center of the show. “I came here because something very big is set to occur, and it needs to be stopped.” That very bad things appears to be, as April Bowlby’s Rita Farr (a.k.a. Elasti-Girl) pieces together, is the Brotherhood of Evil — the group of supervillains from DC lore that have long been antagonists to the Doom Patrol. “They are coming for us! This is everyone’s problem,” Madame Rogue shouts emphatically later in the...

In a bit of karma, one of the infamous General Lee cars from The Dukes of Hazzard was crushed by a tree earlier this week when Hurricane Ida struck John Schneider’s studios in Holden, Louisiana. Apparently, the 61-year-old actor has a whole collection of the Confederate flag-sporting vehicles, and a second one got caught in a tree. Putting on a brave face, The Dukes of Hazzard star shared a cheeky Facebook post about the damage. “Well… When something like this happens you have two choices: Tears and laughter,” wrote Schneider, who played Bo Duke in the 1980s TV series. “I choose laughter. So… What’s your caption? Here’s mine: ‘Miss Ida stopped by to see the General at Miss Shirley’s last night…’” Over the past several years, the 1969 Dodge Charger has rightfully become a cultura...
Cheyenne and Zach will welcome their son on the upcoming Teen Mom OG season. And before their little boy makes his debut, doctor’s visits are on the schedule — but Zach is unable to go inside at the appointment due to COVID-19 protocols. “I just want to be there,” Zach tells Chey as they drive to the appointment in the sneak peek above, just before he asks her, “Can you FaceTime me, please?” Chey did not video call him during the checkup, but producer JC was able to hear the baby’s heartbeat because Zach went to the bathroom. And when Chey returned, Zach was unhappy. And so was Chey. “Do you think I want to walk into every appointment by myself?” she angrily asks. But the argument only escalates from there, and the tension is visibly ri...
Festivus is coming early this year, as Seinfeld will be available to stream on Netflix starting October 1st. Netflix acquired the rights to all 180 episodes of the classic sitcom in 2019, but had to wait another two years before the show’s existing distribution deal with Hulu ran its course. Since June, Seinfeld has not been available on any streaming platform, but come October 1st Netflix will finally get its $500 million worth. “Larry [David] and I are enormously grateful to Netflix for taking this chance on us. It takes a lot of guts to trust two schmucks who literally had zero experience in television when we made this thing,” joked Jerry Seinfeld in a statement. “We really got carried away, I guess. I didn’t realize we made so many of them. Hope to recoup god knows how many millions i...
It’s hard to imagine someone not falling in love with — or at least being charmed by — The Muppets in all of their tender, felted magic. But apparently, loving the puppet doesn’t always equate to loving the puppeteer. According to Frank Oz — the beloved puppeteer originally behind Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, and Animal, and iconic Sesame Street characters like Cookie Monster and Bert — Disney “doesn’t want” to work with him anymore. Oz hasn’t been involved with The Muppets or The Jim Henson Company since 2007. Fans long assumed that he retired in favor of more acting roles in films like Knives Out, but in a new interview with The Guardian, the actor revealed that he didn’t put the job on hold by choice. “I’d love to do The Muppets again, but Disney doesn’t want me, and Sesame Street...
Last week, John Lydon officially lost a court case over the use of the Sex Pistols’ music in Pistol, an upcoming TV series about the group that’s directed by Danny Boyle. Now, the infamous musician has shared a written statement in which he claims the “majority rules” technicality that lost him the case will also “water down” Sex Pistols’ legacy in the years to come. As The Guardian notes, a press statement was published today on Lydon’s website suggesting Lydon was only made aware of Pistol hours before it was announced. It also claimed he still has not been told how the band will be portrayed in the series, adding that he feels there’s a good chance all of this will “distort the true history” of Sex Pistols. “For more than 23 years the Sex Pistols have operated on the basis of unanimous ...
Learning from your mistakes? Maybe not such a given for Challenge vet Tori: The Spies, Lies and Allies competitor has already made several social mistakes similar to those that got her booted from Double Agents. But can she course-correct in time to spare herself an early exit? On the latest episode of Season 37, Tori and new partner Ed came out swinging in “Sea Cave Recon” and each earned their first wins of the season. The celebratory mood was short-lived, though, when Tori — as half of the new Agency — was faced with a conundrum. On one hand, sending two rookies into The Lair would be the smartest move to keep the Veteran Truce in motion. On the other, she had a score to settle with fellow veteran Big T, who pit Tori and BFF Aneesa against each other on Double Agents, a matchup that ult...
Let’s get…loud? James Corden held up traffic in Los Angeles on Friday with the cast of the upcoming Cinderella remake to perform Jennifer Lopez’s “Let’s Get Loud” while dressed in as a giant mouse. One particular driver at the front of the pack happened to capture the performance, and got a front row seat to Corden thrusting in the air to the beat while Camila Cabello breathlessly mouthed the words to J.Lo’s hit 1999 single. “LMFAO CAMILLA IS SO PRETTY,” the fan posted on Twitter alongside the clip, leading it to go viral with jokes, criticism, and other hilarious commentary. “Imagine being late to work because james corden had to do hip thrusts at you in a rat costume,” one person quipped, while another wrote, “Seeing James Corden in a rat costume one more time will be the start of my vil...
Ed Asner, the most decorated male performer in television history, has died at the age of 91. According to a statement from his family, Asner passed away Sunday morning. “We are sorry to say that our beloved patriarch passed away this morning peacefully,” his family said in a statement. “Words cannot express the sadness we feel. With a kiss on your head — Goodnight dad. We love you.” Asner was the recipient of seven Emmy Awards, the most of any male performer in television history. He won five Emmys for his role as Lou Grant on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and its titular spin-off series, Lou Grant. Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra’s “last baby” is here! The Teen Mom OG couple are the proud parents to a baby girl, Tyler shared in an Instagram story. “She’s here and she’s perfect,” Tyler posted. Cate teased her daughter’s imminent arrival, writing “Baby R is on her way ❤️ send positive vibes.” The MTV sweethearts, who recently celebrated 15 years together, shared in February that Baby Baltierra would be “coming soon.” The pregnancy announcement featured siblings Novalee and Vaeda wearing matching T-shirts that read “My Parents Did Not Practice Social Distancing, Big Sister 2021.” Soon after, the couple — who made it no secret that they really wanted a boy to round out their clan &...
