Disney+ is keeping steady in its Flying V for April. Now that Gordon Bombay has hit the ice, The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers will really start heating up. Not to be outshined by the Minnesota Miracle Man, of course, is Marvel’s other spinoff series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, which keeps getting better. Right behind those two juggernaut series are some Ewoks. Yes, the cuddliest creatures in the Star Wars galaxy are finally coming to Disney+ with both films (Caravan of Courage, Ewoks: The Battle for Endor) and two seasons of its animated series. Elsewhere, John Stamos is coaching a basketball team in new series Big Shot, the first two seasons of Daredevil are making the leap from Netflix, the first two Night at the Museum flicks will open their doors, and JTT will prove he’s sti...

The first competitor to make their grand debut: Inferno winner Katie Cooley. “The last time you saw me, I had two black eyes when I was leaving Cutthroat,” the nine-time competitor declares about Season 20, which was filmed back in 2010. “Back then, I was known to be a little feisty. I’ve definite...
There are currently six Game of Thrones spinoffs being developed for HBO Max — two prequels, an animated series, and three other offshoots — but the iconic fantasy saga is also making its way on to the big stage. A Broadway play adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s creation is currently in the works, and it promises the return of some beloved fallen characters. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the dramatic stage production is being helmed by producers Simon Painter and Tim Lawson, who previously produced the magic extravaganza, The Illusionists. Martin himself will be penning the story alongside English playwright Duncan MacMillan (1984) and director Dominic Cook (The Courier, The Hollow Crown). The story itself provides a unique angle for longtime Game of Thrones heads, a...
Framing Britney Spears, the documentary exploring Britney Spears’ controversial conservatorship, premiered back on February 5th. Since then, nearly everyone has commented on the film, including her father Jamie Spears, media stars, and even Justin Timberlake. However, one crucial voice has been missing from the discourse on the documentary — Britney Spears herself — and now she’s finally speaking up about it. In a new post on Instagram, Spears revealed that she’s only seen parts of Framing Britney Spears. Understandably, she had been putting it off due to the overwhelming nature of its content and the massive response from viewers. “My life has always been very speculated… watched… and judged really my whole life,” reads the caption. “I didn’t watch the documentary but from what ...
The Challenge is all about relationships — friends and foes included. And when the All Stars take the field on April 1 — streaming exclusively on Paramount+ — the players are about to see some pals and adversaries. In the video below, we asked the 22 iconic players — some of whom viewers haven’t seen since the early 2000s — to reveal who they are the most (and least) excited to see. While Inferno winner Kendall is thrilled to be back with her Campus Crawl cohort Darrell, Real World veterans Beth and Syrus both chose each other because they are “real friends” outside of the game. And then there’s Teck, who hasn’t missed a beat since his Real World: Hawaii days. “Of course, I’m excited to see the ladies,” he states...
Leah turned 12 during tonight’s Teen Mom OG episode, but her mom Amber decided not to join her daughter’s family-only birthday party. Now, can the MTV mom fix the “bond” with her mini-me? The context: Gary asked Leah what she wanted to do for her birthday — and if she wanted to invite her other parent for a small, family-only get-together with Kristina, sister Emilee and Grandma Tonya (Amber’s mom). “I don’t want to,” Leah told Gary and Kristina about Amber, even though he said it was “important” to spend time with her. “We don’t really have a bond like that. Twelve years, and she hasn’t really done anything. That’s kind of been Kristina’s spot.” Kristina’s take: “I’m jus...

In terms of archival additions, subs...
In keeping with a curse that’s nearly as powerful as the Bambino’s or Billy Goat’s, Aneesa Ferreira, who’s been competing on The Challenge since 2002’s Battle of the Sexes, was eliminated on the most recent episode of Double Agents. Though she’d sent home powerhouse Tori and racked up three daily wins en route to the end of Season 36, she was snuffed out at the last second by Big T in “Fire Escape,” a hog-tied race that didn’t play to her strengths. “Losing before the final has been my reality for the last however many seasons,” Aneesa lamented. “[But] this loss feels so different…this is the one where I kind of left it all out there.” And leave it out there, she did — when Aneesa said in the preceding Crater deliberation that she helped to pave the way for the game’s current crop of power...

Today, we know exactly who will be part of that story, as Disney+ has unveiled the cast for the spinoff Obi-Wan Kenobi limited series — and it’s even more stacked than expected. As previously announced, Ewan McGregor will return as the legendary Jedi Master for the show set 10 years after the end of Revenge of the Sith. Meanwhile, fan-favorite Hayden Christensen will also return as Darth Vader, giving him the chance to fully embody the iconic villain after playing Anakin Skywalker in the prequel trilogy. Joining them in the cast will be longtime Star Wars fan Kumail Nanjiani; Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse, returning to play Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru from the p...
The Pitch: Robert Kirkman, the comic book creator behind the monolithic The Walking Dead, also started a long running and much beloved superhero comic books series the same year as the zombie epic. This one, instead, takes a deep dive into the nuanced life of teenager-turned-superhero Mark Grayson. Mark is the son of Nolan and Debbie Grayson, he’s in high school, and riding the waves that most teenagers must endure: relationships, his first job, friendships, and school. The big difference with Mark, however, is that his father is the most powerful superhuman on the entire planet, Omni-Man. So, when Mark begins to develop his own powers, his life suddenly becomes a crash course on balancing his day-to-day and his own superheroics. Things take an even sharper turn, though, when a horrific mu...
