SpongeBob SquarePants Episodes Removed From Paramount+ for Inappropriate Plotlines

Two episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants have been removed from Paramount+ for content that Nickelodeon has deemed inappropriate. One is an episode about a “panty raid” involving Mr. Krabs, and another is about a dangerous flu outbreak that involves a quarantine scenario. The beloved kids cartoon is one of the big-ticket items on the new streaming service that launched earlier this month, but apparently the catalog that they’re framing as comprehensive is missing a couple items. The more glaring of the two is a notable season three episode in which Mr. Krabs tries to reignite his youthful spark by spending an evening with SpongeBob and Patrick Star. After a few boring activities that feel more like chores than fun to the middle-age restaurant owner, the boys suggest a “panty raid”: ...

Tiger King’s Jeff Lowe Suspects He Was Poisoned After Suffering Stroke

Jeff Lowe of Tiger King is claiming that he was poisoned after he suffered a stroke last week that sent him to the hospital. The former zoo owner collapsed at a casino in the early hours of March 18th, and he and his wife have a hunch that it wasn’t brought on by natural causes. If you didn’t watch the hit Netflix show that aired almost exactly a year ago, Lowe was painted as one of the repugnant antagonists to the show’s main subject Joe Exotic. In Netflix’s telling of the convoluted story, Lowe initially came on as a benevolent business partner who wanted to help Exotic revive his struggling zoo, but the 54-year-old ultimately snatched the compound out from under him when Exotic was imprisoned for a 22-year sentence. Although Lowe ultimately lost control of the zoo to Exotic’s true arch ...

Sharon Osbourne Exits The Talk Following On-Air Blowup and Allegations by Former Co-Hosts

Sharon Osbourne will no longer be doing any talking on CBS’ daytime show The Talk. The long-running program’s last remaining founding co-host is exiting the show after a tumultuous two weeks that included a heated exchange with co-host Sheryl Underwood and multiple allegations by former colleagues. The Talk is currently on hiatus as a result of the March 10th on-air dustup between Osbourne and Underwood. It all started when Osbourne tweeted support for UK television personality Piers Morgan, who was lambasted for comments he made about Meghan Markle following her tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey. Morgan questioned the authenticity of Markle’s statements about having suicidal thoughts and experiencing racism within the royal family. Underwood asked Osbourne, “What would you say to peop...

‘I’m The Best Man’: Will Fessy Really Outdo CT On Double Agents?

Take a break, Icarus: Fessy flew so close to the sun, he nearly caused an eclipse — and not just because the day’s mission kicked off at 15,000 feet. Now, the question after tonight’s Double Agents episode is: Will the game’s biggest guy protect his wings from molting, or is his descent imminent? And will he drag his partner Nany down as well? After Darrell’s shocking elimination, the game’s remaining 11 competitors were forced to confront any fears of heights in “Spy Dive,” which challenged them to memorize a giant puzzle key while freefalling from an airplane. Then, once their feet were on the ground (and the screaming stopped), they’d have to sprint a half-mile to a checkpoint alongside their partners and recreate the key. While the day’s winners Kaycee and Leroy had teamwor...

Jay Leno Apologizes for Long History of Racist Asian Jokes

Jay Leno has issued an apology for his long history of racist jokes about Asian communities. For years, the former Tonight Show host has made wisecracks about North Koreans and other Asian populations consuming dog meat, which is an offensive stereotype with subhuman and/or morally inferior implications. According to Variety, the activist group Media Action Network for Asian Americans (MANAA) has spent the last 15 years lobbying for Leno to stop and apologize for his remarks, which he reportedly continued to make as recently as 2020 on the set of America’s Got Talent. Now, one week after the Atlanta spa shooting that left eight dead, including six women of Asian descent, Leno has decided to come forward and apologize for his egregiously offensive attempts at humor. “At ...
