Well, the Mighty Ducks were never going to die, and they’ve since flipped the coin. Now, they’re the powerhouse team in the Twin Cities region, no different than Coach Reilly’s Hawks back in the early ’90s, and they’re in it to win it. Last year, The Ellen DeGeneres Show came under massive scrutiny after allegations of a “toxic” work culture surfaced. Following a multi-month hiatus, The Ellen DeGeneres Show has finally returned to TV only to discover that its viewership has taken a huge nosedive. George Segal, the veteran actor who starred in countless movies and TV shows including Just Shoot Me! and The Goldbergs, has died at 87. He passed away due to complications from bypass surgery in Santa Rosa, California, reports Variety. Born in Great Neck, New York in 1934 to a Jewish family, Segal quickly fell in love with acting after seeing Alan Ladd in This Gun for Hire when he was nine years old. He spent his free time playing banjo and watching movies in high school before leaving for Haverford College. Segal then earned his Bachelor of Arts from Columbia College of Columbia University in 1955 and briefly served in the US Army. The biographical drama has been in the works for over five years, originally intended as a feature film. The latter filmmaking legend has stuck around and will serve as executive producer on the limited series. Thomas Middleditch Accused of Sexual Misconduct: Report
Silicon Valley actor Thomas Middleditch has been accused of sexual misconduct. In a report published by the Los Angeles Times, a woman named Hannah Harding detailed an incident that allegedly took place at the now-shuttered Hollywood club Cloak & Dagger on October 22nd, 2019. Harding accused the 39-year-old actor of making “lewd sexual overtures” toward her and her girlfriend. Three More Game of Thrones Spinoffs in Development at HBO
HBO is developing three additional Game of Thrones spinoffs, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Two of the prequels have the working titles of 9 Voyages and 10,000 Ships, respectively. 9 Voyages is centered around Lord Corlys Velaryon, a.k.a. The Sea Snake, the Lord of the Tides and head of House Velaryon. Velaryon also appears in the previously announced House of the Dragon, in which he’s played by Steve Toussaint. 10,000 Ships is about warrior queen Princess Nymeria, an ancestor of House Martell who founded the kingdom of Dorne. Two characters in the original series, Sand Snake Nymeria Sand and Arya’s direwolf, bore her name.
