Family game night at the the MTV Floribama Shore abode “was not a success.” And Jerigus are to blame for its failure. During tonight’s brand-new episode, Gus and Jeremiah came to blows yet again, all but squandering their recent hot tub-based cease fire. The previous handshake and hug, and “starting fresh,” is null and void. What spawned the brawl? The contests-filled evening featured the crew playing “Who’s the most…” and the most spoiled, can’t keep a secret and biggest drama queen Aimee taking a bunch of shots. Then the group unanimously decided that Gus was the most insecure, while Jeremiah was chosen as the most entitled. “Surprise, surprise! I’d like to know exactly why I’m the most entitled. Please!”...
Netflix password sharing could soon be a thing of the past. As spotted by GammaWire, the streaming service is starting to test a pop-up screen meant to stop viewers from attempting to use somebody’s account. “If you don’t live with the owner of this account, you need your own account to keep watching,” the warning reads. It also asks users to verify the account via email or text. However, there is a “verify later” option allowing viewers to bypass the prompt for now, according to Twitter user DOP3Sweet, who shared the image above. In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, Netflix confirmed the new feature. “This test is designed to help ensure that people using Netflix accounts are authorized to do so,” a spokesperson for the streaming giant said. THR further reported that the extent of th...
Jenni “JWOWW” Farley “said yes” to Zack Carpinello — and the bride’s Jersey Shore family offered their congratulations to the soon-to-be husband and wife. “So beyond happy for you two!!!! You deserve all the happiness in the world love you J! Congrats to you both!!!!!” Deena commented on the announcement above, while Pauly D offered “Congrats to you both!!!!!” Snooki wrote, “Love you guys so much,” and Lauren added, “I’m so excited for you two!! Love you guys! Cheers to forever!” But it wasn’t long ago (Season 3 of the hit MTV series, to be exact), that Jenni was gushing about being “madly in love” with her then 24-year-old beau and introducing 24 him to everyone in Las Vegas. “There...
Little else got us through the blazing hellscape that was 2020 quite like movies and TV. While politicians hesitated to deliver sustainable coronavirus relief packages, mushy rom-coms, superhero action flicks, and fantasy adventures were there to hold you, distract you, and tell you everything would be OK. They’ve been a helpful reminder that a world existed before the pandemic — and that there will be one after it, too. That’s why the golden popcorn hits (tastes?) a little different this time around. The MTV Movie & TV Awards celebrate the biggest, the butteriest, and the most unbelievably outrageous in the business, and this installment is so massive that it can’t be contained to a single night. The show returns on Sunday, May 16, to toast the side-splitting, jaw-dropping momen...
By Alex Gonzalez Zelda Barnz has creativity in her blood. Growing up in Los Angeles with a parent in the entertainment industry, she was always surrounded by a diverse, eclectic cast of characters, and her inquisitive nature meant she had a desire to learn about each of them and share their stories. Today the 19-year-old screenwriter is doing just that with Genera+ion, the queer coming-of-age dramedy she crafted while still in high school. With all the stylistic edge of Euphoria and the biting relatability of Degrassi, Genera+ion homes in on the darkness and beauty of being a teenager today. It follows a loosely connected crew of high schoolers as they navigate everything from sexuality and gender identity, to substance use and social media, to all the hyped-up horniness you’d expect ...
If “close but no cigar” had a human Challenge equivalent, it might look like Nany. The Real World: Las Vegas export consistently plays solid games, only to watch them unravel at the 99-yard line. But things seemed to shift on the latest Double Agents episode, and now that Nany’s officially claimed her Gold Skull, is it her luck finally changing, and could Season 36 be hers for the taking? After Devin and Josh were both eliminated as part of a shocking Challenge Security Breach, players began to feel especially hungry for the win…that is, until they were introduced to the next mission, “Survive the Night.” As part of the game, players — equipped with very little information — were chained together, trapped in cages and told they needed to escape. How, exactly? By eating ram test...

Ahead of the documentary’s debut on March 21st, check out the trailer below. He also spoke to current 8chan owner Jim Watkins, as well as QAnon debunkers, political operatives, and journalists who have been following the movement since its inception in 2017. In 1992, Eric Nies was the first roommate to step into “a new world.” Fast-forward 29 years later: The New Jersey resident did not have the same experience as his roomies during a once-in-a-lifetime homecoming in January 2021. During The Real World Homecoming: New York premiere — now streaming on Paramount+ — the original cast members all traveled back to the Big Apple in the middle of a global pandemic to reunite in their original Soho loft. Becky Blasband, Andre Comeau, Heather B. Gardner, Julie Gentry, Norman Korpi, and Kevin Powell all arrived — and began to ponder Eric’s whereabouts. Soon, they were greeted by an “Incoming Message” on their television monitor. And Eric’s face appeared. “Guess what I have?” Eric asked th...
Just WOWW: Jenni Farley and 24 Zack Carpinello are engaged! “On 2.27 I said yes on the top of the Empire State Building @zackclayton,” the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star shared in the Instagram album above. The two met through Zack’s brother; in fact, Zack attended JWOWW’s wedding. The couple made their official debut at the CMT Music Awards in June 2019 and then attended their first MTV events together (the Movie & TV Awards as well as the Video Music Awards). Zack’s network debut was during Season 3 — and he soon became known as “24” (his then-age). Jenni’s roommates soon got the chance to meet Zack (of course, the jokes were flying), and eventually he joined the crew while appearing in several episodes. The two temporarily sp...
Most parents speak about the birds and the bees with their kids, and during tonight’s Teen Mom OG episode, Maci had “the talk” with Bentley. So what prompted the candid discussion? “Apparently, the boy and girl bible classes are separate,” Maci told Taylor pre-chat. “And he goes, ‘I don’t know why they’re separate. Do you know why boys and girls bible classes would be separate?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, that’s when they probably start talking about sex.’ And he was like, ‘Okay.'” Yes, Taylor, “now we’re doing that.” Maci believed it was time: Bentley is in the sixth grade and middle school (no, we can’t believe it either). And Maci’s point about how she would rather him hea...
Last month, The Manadalorian actress Gina Carano was fired by Lucasfilm for a series of abhorrent tweets, including one that compared being a Republican today to being a Jew during the holocaust. She quickly doubled-down and became an anti-cancel culture crusader. Now, Disney’s CEO has chimed in to defend her departure from the Star Wars TV series. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Walt Disney Co. CEO Bob Chapek was on a call during an annual shareholders meeting when someone asked him if Carano was on Disney’s “black list” for her openly conservative politics. Chapek responded with the type of corporate vagueness that you’d expect from a major entertainment executive, saying that he doesn’t see Disney as “left-leaning or right-leaning.” However, he did say that Disney st...
Last year, Annie Murphy and her Schitt’s Creek co-stars swept the 2020 Emmys in a historic feat that saw them take home W’s in all major categories. Murphy’s performance as the character Alexis Rose surely made her a desired player in Hollywood, because she’s now been cast for the second season of Netflix’s Russian Doll. The follow-up the show’s first season, which hit the streaming service in 2019 and quickly became a cult favorite, is still in the development stages, and we have no idea what Murphy’s character will entail. However, given what we saw in the first season of the show, which starred its co-creator Natasha Lyonne, it’ll probably be weird as hell. Lyonne created and executive produced the show alongside Amy Poehler and Leslye Headland, and that inaugural season saw h...
