Harley Quinn Unwittingly Attends an Orgy with Poison Ivy in Season 3 Trailer: Watch

Season 3 of the animated series Harley Quinn picks up with the eponymous character (Kaley Cuoco) and Poison Ivy (Lake Bell) returning to Gotham after embarking on a whirlwind trip in celebration of their newfound romance. In anticipation of its premiere on July 28th, HBO Max has released a teaser trailer. In the clip, the new power couple reunite with their crew of King Shark (Ron Funches), Clayface (Alan Tudyk), and Frank the Plant (JB Smoove), who are all ready to cause more mayhem together. Promising Season 3 will be “wetter,” “filthier,” “squishier,” “freakier,” and “creepier,” it shows Batman licking Catwoman’s feet (as long as he doesn’t travel north, DC won’t mind), “Harlivy” unwittingly attending an orgy, and James Gunn sitting on a vibrating Clayface. At the end of the trailer, Ha...

Baz Luhrmann’s Australia to Be Expanded into Six-Part Limited Series Faraway Downs

If you thought nearly three hours of Baz Luhrmann’s Australia was a lot, prepare to be buggered: Hulu and Disney+ are set to release an expanded and reimagined cut of the 2008 period drama, split up into a six-part limited series called Faraway Downs. Deadline reports that the series will consist of footage captured for the original film, along with a fresh soundtrack and “an expanded, serialized version of the story with a new ending.” Starring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman, Australia was quite the ambitious love story on its own, but Faraway Downs will allow the story to delve even deeper into the World War II-era draconian racial policy known as the Stolen Generations, by which the Australian government forcibly removed Indigenous children from their families. “I origina...

Hide Your Cats, All Episodes of ALF Now Streaming for Free

Great news for Earthlings, Melmacians, and anyone with complicated feelings about cats: All 102 episodes of the classic sitcom ALF are now streaming for free on Amazon’s Freevee (formerly IMDb TV). Created by longtime Jim Henson associate Tom Patchett (The Great Muppet Caper, Muppets Take Manhattan) and veteran puppeteer Paul Fusco, ALF debuted in 1986 and ran for four Hawaiian shirt-filled seasons. It followed the terrestrial hijinks of Gordon Shumway, an Alien Life Form (ALF) and escapee from the destroyed planet Melmac whose intelligence was matched only by his hairiness. In the pilot episode, he crash landed in the suburban garage of the Tanners, and when he wasn’t trying to eat their pet cat, Lucky, he spent his time avoiding detection, staving off boredom, and att...

Succession Details Season 4 as Production Begins

It looks like Succession fans may not have to wait too long for the next installment, as HBO has announced production is underway for Season 4. In addition to revealing it spans 10 episodes, the network shared some details about the show’s upcoming plot. “The sale of media conglomerate Waystar Royco to tech visionary Lukas Matsson moves ever closer,” reads the official logline. “The prospect of this seismic sale provokes existential angst and familial division among the Roys as they anticipate what their lives will look like once the deal is completed. A power struggle ensues as the family weighs up a future where their cultural and political weight is severely curtailed.” Succession will of course continue to center around media mogul Logan Roy (Brian Cox) and his children, Kendall (...

Even Steve-O Agrees Jackass Was “Legitimately a Bad Influence” on Kids

They say wisdom comes with age, and with the Jackass crew getting a bit longer in the tooth these days, Steve-O has finally looked back and admitted the hit MTV series was not exactly a great example for young fans in its early days. “I think in the beginning of Jackass, we were genuinely worth vilifying because back then they didn’t have YouTube or video on the internet and we were legitimately a bad influence,” the comedian said in a Thursday, June 16th interview for Mike Tyson’s podcast, Hotboxin’. He went on to add, “When Jackass came out, little kids were showing up in hospitals all over the country and maybe the world because they saw us doing this crazy shit, and they wanted to do it themselves. So little kids everywhere got video cameras and started fucking themselves up…...

Why Yes, the Westworld Cast Has Concerns About Data Privacy After Working on Season 4

HBO’s Westworld is set in a seemingly far-off future, one where a disaster at a high-tech theme park ends up having massive society-wide repercussions. The third season of the series focused on one-time “host” Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) attempting to bring down a malevolent artificial intelligence that’s using peoples’ personal data to determine the course of their entire lives, and Season 4 takes place in the aftermath of that struggle, in a world which thinks itself free of technology’s control… perhaps quite foolishly. In essence, like all stories about the future, it’s really about the present. Specifically our present-day relationship with the technology that helps us and connects us every day… but with its own costs. Speaking with Consequence during a recent virtual press event, the ...

How The Umbrella Academy Aced A ‘Footloose’ Dance-Off During Quarantine

The explosive third season of Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy kicked off on June 22 the old-fashioned way: an all-out dance battle between the titular class and their rivals from the Sparrow Academy, all of whom busted moves to Kenny Loggins’s classic hit “Footloose.” And in a behind-the-scenes clip shared with MTV News on Friday (June 24), the cast revealed how much they enjoyed learning the movements to the song that has soundtracked many a montage. “Dance training for ‘Footloose’ was so fun, and it felt so special learning to do it,” said Elliot Page, who plays the sound-manipulating violinist Viktor. “Next thing you know, we’re all just breaking it down together.” The time-travel superhero show follows the Hargreeves, a group of adopted siblings who reunite to solve their father’s ...

Westworld Season 4 Review: A Welcome Fresh Start With Some Big Ideas to Explore

The Pitch: The third season of Westworld did not have a lot of luck on its side — specifically, the timing of its premiere could have been better, as March 15th, 2020 was not an ideal day to launch a new season of a TV show which, over the course of eight episodes, became a tale of society nearly descending entirely into apocalypse. But even since the first season, Westworld has experienced a lot of critical scrutiny, especially as the narrative has drifted further and further away from its original Michael Crichton inspiration of disaster at a high-tech amusement park for the ultra-rich. (Funny how Westworld literally is a response to one of Jeff Goldblum’s iconic quotes from another Crichton adaptation: “If Pirates of the Caribbean breaks down, the pirates don’t eat the tourists.”) So wh...

Angelina Is About To Reveal Something Really Big To Deena On Jersey Shore

After a heart-to-heart (and a little tantric sex therapy) in international waters the Florida Keys, Angelina had resolved to “try one more time” with Chris. But during tonight’s Jersey Shore: Family Vacation episode, it seems that thought may have been short-lived. For starters, Ang is moving on to bigger digs, complete with a “koi” pond (live fish, optional) and a full-blown makeup room that would make Khloe Kardashian jealous. “It’s like a broken record for me. It’s just the same sh*t, different house,” Angelina admitted. When it came time for the Staten Island native to fly to Spain to film All Star Shore just before the holidays, she and Chris got into it (on their two-year wedding anniversary, no ...

Series Premiere: Buckhead Shore Boasts Strippers, ‘Toxic’ Exes And…Chicken

What happens at the lake stays at the lake. Or does it? Parker and his Buckhead Shore pals have officially arrived at his family’s lake house to “let loose” for the summer, but it seems their dreams of any “drama-free” southern shore life will be short-lived. Hailing from Buckhead — the Beverly Hills of the South — this tight-knit crew has history… and then some. The chicken man Parker is the HBIC (“Head Buck” in charge) because, well, it’s his lake house. Even though his fam owns one of the biggest fast-food chicken chains in the Southeast, ask the self-proclaimed country boy at heart (but a city boy in his pants) to grill chicken at your own risk. His ride-or-dies include Pat and DJ, whose dad is Daryl ...
