Fucked Up to Release 10th Anniversary David Comes To Life Vinyl, Plus ‘The Truest Road’ Rarity

Toronto punk band Fucked Up is celebrating their concept album David Comes To Life with a limited-edition two-LP reissue on lightbulb-yellow vinyl. Out via Matador Records on Dec. 10, the collection will revisit a set of songs that splayed freely into unexpected instrumentation, psychedelic drift, and situationist philosophy. Retired Lt. Col. Barnard Kempter, speaking at the event hosted by the Hudson American Legion Auxillary in Hudson, Ohio began to cite the history of how Black soldiers began the tradition in Charleston, South Carolina in 1865. Suspect Arrested After One Person Shot Dead at Boosie Video Shoot

“The worst year of my life concludes with the best album of my life,” Morrissey said, pulling no punches in the announcement of his new album, Bonfire of the Teenagers. Smashing Pumpkins Announce Live in Japan, 1992 LP

Smashing Pumpkins’ debut album Gish turned 30 this week, and to celebrate the band announced its first archival release: Live in Japan, 1992. The limited edition live album will be released as a double LP on purple swirl, 180g vinyl. “Audio is from a board tape and is not available anywhere else,” the band wrote on Instagram. The setlist is from their show at Kawasaki Japan’s Club Citta in Feb. 1992 and includes banter and extended songs. The LP will only be available for 24 hours via Madame ZuZu’s website (Billy Corgan’s tea shop).
