As POPSUGAR editors, we independently select and write about stuff we love and think you’ll like too. If you buy a product we have recommended, we may receive affiliate commission, which in turn supports our work. When buying a wedding or engagement ring, some of us will instantly think about what it should look like — from the size and type of diamond or gemstone to the band and general aesthetic. But Taylor & Hart‘s creative director, Jason D’Heureux, told POPSUGAR that brides should consider how the ring fits into your lifestyle and complements the personality of you and your partner. Taylor & Hart offers free appointments — that you can book online — where you visit the showroom, go through the entire ring-design process, and then can change your mind without ...
I know from my own experience that planning a wedding can take months. You spend endless hours deciding what your guests are going to eat, what booze they’re going to drink and even which napkins they’ll wipe their mouths on. While this is all important stuff, it doesn’t really compare to deciding on which outfit you’re going to wear. Of course, the last couple of years had different plans for those who had their weddings coming up, and plenty of nuptials had to be cancelled as a result of the pandemic. But there’s one silver lining I hope I can provide for you. If you’re planning on getting married at some point, then you have more time to decide what you’re going to wear. And if budgets are smaller tha...
Two-stone engagement rings are dynamic and unique, but Megan Fox isn’t the first star to choose the dual-stone shape. They’re called “toi et moi” rings, and celebs including Solange Knowles, Emily Ratajkowski, and Ariana Grande have given the romantic ring shape a recent revival. The toi-et-moi ring dates back to the 18th century. Translating to “you and me” in French, the ring features two stones set side by side on a band that coils together, as to represent the lovers’ commitment to each other. Napoleon Bonaparte is recorded as one of the first people to adopt the toi-et-moi ring trend. In 1796, he proposed to Joséphine de Beauharnais with a diamond-and-sapphire toi-et-moi ring. Each of the two gems is said to weigh a little under one carat, and...

Building a winter wedding outfit is a process rife with problems. You want to be warm, but you don’t want to feel so bundled up that you can’t show off your outfit. Then there’s the issue of accidentally wearing all black and looking rather sombre for a lovely occasion. Indeed, it’s a sartorial minefield. But fear not, as there is no shortage of solutions to the cold-weather outfit dilemma. I’ve worked tirelessly to hunt down a few looks that are super easy to copy and will work for not only someone’s chilly nuptials but also any other occasion you might have coming up that you want to dress up for. And yes, they just might help you get some use out of pieces you already own. What can I say? I’ve always been partial to a bit of m...

After so many weddings and celebrations were delayed or altered over the last few years thanks to the pandemic, things are hopefully looking up for 2022. Normal wedding programming has resumed and we can finally get back to celebrating our friends and family in style— which is great news, especially if you’re one of the couples planning your big day. If you’re anything like most of us on the Who What Wear team, the delays have also meant our 2022 calendars are already looking pretty packed; thanks to the backlog of postponements as well as all the new engagements that have happened since. The fun times will, of course, be worth it, but the stress of planning so many different outfits for all the occasions is real. So we thought we’d help the best way we know how— by getting ahea...

Congratulations are in order for one of the OG French influencers Camille Charrière. She just married François Larpin in Paris, and the event was as stylish as you’d expect. The bride wore a Celine couture wedding dress for the ceremony, featuring a sheer skirt and sleeves along with shiny sequin details. She finished the look with white pointy-toe pumps and delicate snowflakes pinned to her hair. How romantic is that? Charrière’s reception look, however, seemed to steal the show, as it was completely sheer and exposed her white thong underneath. The ethereal lace number featured ultra-thin straps and a mini train, contrasting her ankle-length wedding dress from earlier in the day. Scroll down to see Camille Charrière’s wedding photos.
