Parents TV Council: Marvel Shows on Disney+ Slippery Slope to “Striptease Performances” at Disney World
Disney+ recently announced the onboarding of Netflix’s TV-MA Marvel shows, which is great news for fans of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and more, but an unaccountable tragedy for the humorless scolds at the Parents Television and Media Council. In a new open letter, the PTC said the decision “violates the trust of families” and suggested carrying such content is a slippery slope to “adding live striptease performances in Fantasyland at Disney World.” The House of Mouse’s streaming platform is adding new parental controls for this more mature content in hopes of heading off criticisms like this. Creepy Lars Ulrich Metallica Toilet Acquired by a Museum in Denmark
The creepy toilet in the likeness of Metallica’s Lars Ulrich is making its way to the drummer’s birth country of Denmark, where it has been acquired by the Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum in Copenhagen. A cursed piece of art if there ever was one, the toilet finding its home at the Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum only makes sense. Ed Sheeran Gets Approval for Underground Crypt on English Estate
Ed Sheeran is getting his crypt after all. The pop star’s application to add the underground lair to his property in Suffolk, England has reportedly been approved. The singer initially submitted the application in December for the crypt to be added onto the private chapel on the grounds of his $5 million estate outside the town of Framlingham, but had to be given the green light from the East Suffolk council to move ahead with the construction. In 2019, the “Bad Habits” crooner was given approval for building the chapel as a “private place of retreat for contemplation and prayer,” but he had to get additional permission for the crypt. Heather Morgan, who has released some of history’s most jaw-droppingly bad rap music under the name Razzlekhan, was arrested on Tuesday alongside her husband Ilya “Dutch” Lichtenstein for stealing $4.5 billion in cryptocurrency. According to the federal criminal complaint, accounts linked to Lichtenstein allegedly hacked into a virtual currency exchange in 2016, initiating over 2,000 unauthorized transactions and making off with 119,754 in Bitcoin. Later, Razzlekhan and Lichtenstein purportedly laundered the funds through a series of crypto wallets.
