Tequila Don Julio and Hypebeast LATAM Brought the Stars Out for Sueños Festival in Chicago

Tequila Don Julio and Hypebeast Latin America teamed up at Sueños Festival over the weekend, running an invite-only Hub inside the festival’s Artist Village in Chicago’s Grant Park.

Sueños is the largest Latin music festival held in Grant Park every Memorial Day weekend. Now in its fifth year, the 18+ event ran across three stages, La Plaza, La Fuente, and the main stage, with over 40 artists spanning reggaetón, música Mexicana, and Latin EDM.

Tequila Don Julio’s Hub gave guests a place to cool off away from the noise, with artists, creatives, and friends of the brand visiting across both days. As a proud Mexican brand with generations-old heritage, Tequila Don Julio honors its roots by uplifting Hispanic and Latino voices across music and culture through experiences that bring people together in celebration.

The bar served three drinks: a Margarita with Don Julio Reposado, fresh lime, housemade curaçao, agave nectar, and a chili salt rim; a Paloma with Don Julio Blanco, grapefruit, lime, agave, and grapefruit soda; and the 1942 Signature Serve, which is Don Julio 1942 over ice. A guided tasting ran guests through the range, from Blanco and Reposado to the 1942 añejo, and a photo studio welcomed talent for up-close shots.

Tequila Don Julio’s 1942 FIFA World Cup 2026™ Limited-Edition bottle was prominently displayed throughout the Hub and gifted to artists in celebration of their musical achievements. Created as part of the brand’s “Made to Be Raised” campaign, this collectible bottle celebrates moments of pride, connection, and triumph that unite us through the world’s game.

As an Official Supporter of the FIFA World Cup 2026™, Tequila Don Julio designed the bottle as a trophy reimagined, featuring a striking gold finish and malachite-inspired closure that pays tribute to the passion and energy of the tournament. Throughout Sueños, the bottle served as a visual centerpiece and symbol of celebration.

The tequila inside is the standard 1942: a 100% Blue Weber agave añejo aged at least two years in American white oak, with notes of oak, vanilla, and roasted agave. The name refers to 1942, the year Don Julio González began making tequila in Jalisco; the 1942 bottling itself launched in 2002 for the brand’s 60th anniversary.

The limited-edition bottle has been available in the United States and Canada since April.
