Celebrity Cars Las Vegas has listed the 1996 BMW 750iL associated with the tragic death of Tupac Shakur, offering collectors a chance to own a significant piece of hip-hop history. The black sedan, which was originally leased by Death Row Records, is the exact vehicle the rap icon was riding in on the night of September 7, 1996 and is on sale for a whopping $1.75 million USD.

According to the listing, this is the first time the car has been publicly displayed or offered for sale since the incident. While the vehicle has undergone a complete restoration to return it to its original state, a few chilling details remain. The seller notes that a small indentation on the exterior is believed to be a remnant of the bullet impact. Additionally, the interior door panels conceal original weld marks from the repairs made after the shooting.

The car features a 5.4-liter 12-cylinder engine and a 5-speed automatic transmission, with the odometer showing 121,043 miles. Despite its grim provenance, the vehicle is described as running “exceptionally well.” To verify the car’s authenticity, the sale includes documentation proving its history and ownership timeline since it was first leased by Death Row Records.
