Trick Daddy, who’s made a lengthy career out of the vulgarity of his raps, had his show at an Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority leadership event abruptly ended because of his lyrics.
Video of the rapper’s performance, taken by a fan, revealed him making direct mentions of oral sex that clashed with what the event’s organizers expected of him, per previous conversations. At one point, he can be heard rapping, “If you want your pussy ate, put your fucking hands up.”
After his performance was cut, the South Atlantic Regional Director of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, Tiffany Moore Russell, released a lengthy statement describing what happened.
In a message directed to her sorority sisters, Russell alleged that her team “met several times” with Trick Daddy to explain the “requirements, including attire, lanauge, and specific songs” that he was required to adhere to. He apparently didn’t abide by them.

“The language, the lyrics, and the comments made by the artist were not acceptable,” she wrote. “I ended the performance because of the disrespect for our organization and our brand.”
Trick Daddy’s performance blunder comes just days after he was celebrated in Dade County by receiving his own street. In a massive festival that celebrated fellow Miami legends like Trina, DJ Khaled, and Uncle Luke, Trick Daddy received an official street called “BORN N RAISED STREET,” with his rap name under it.
Fellow street receiver Trina issued a message of gratitude to the crowd at the festival to commemorate the achievement.
“I’m so grateful,” Trina said. “I’m appreciative. That sign is even more important to me. It’s actually placed directly — the building that’s right in front of it was my mom’s store. So it’s the universe that put it right in front of my mom’s store. I just can’t believe that. I don’t know how that happened. That’s magic… My mom is definitely proud. I know she is.”
