The upcoming video game Stranger than Heaven just revealed a new trailer at Summer Game Fest 2026, which included the reveal that one of its cast members would be none other than Tupac Shakur.
After the trailer played, Snoop Dogg came on stage to reveal that he, his son, and the Tupac estate work very closely together, and so they were involved as a team with including Tupac as a game character. “It just made sense to put him in this game because his life and his spirit do live on,” Snoop said, then asked the crowd what they thought. Cheers ensued.
Stranger than Heaven is a prequel set within the Like a Dragon franchise, set across multiple time periods in the 20th Century. It’ll be available on PlayStation 5, Windows and Xbox Series X/S beginning January 15th, 2027.
