Following his recent appearance in Daredevil: Born Again, Jon Bernthal reprises his iconic role in a 60-minute special presentation tailored for Disney+. The newly unveiled footage leans heavily into the gritty, unforgiving violence that defined the character’s original Netflix run. In the teaser, Castle is shown being set on fire, experiencing intense hallucinations of people from his past, and embarking on a ruthless murderous rampage. The action-packed clip features the anti-hero shooting multiple adversaries and throwing an enemy off a roof, signaling a return to his brutal, stripped-down roots.
Behind the scenes, the project benefits from a focused creative vision. Bernthal co-wrote the special alongside its director, Reinaldo Marcus Green, who previously collaborated with the actor on King Richard and We Own This City.
