Legendary Entertainment and Paramount Pictures have officially debuted a new trailer for the highly anticipated Street Fighter movie. Unveiled during CinemaCon 2026, the footage provides a closer look at the live-action adaptation of the beloved Capcom fighting game, balancing action with a nostalgic 1990s tone.

Set in 1993, the film follows a washed-up Ken Masters (Noah Centineo) and his estranged friend Ryu (Andrew Koji). The duo returns to combat when Chun-Li (Callina Liang) recruits them for the World Warrior Tournament. The trailer leans into its arcade roots, featuring game-accurate character designs and special moves, including Ryu’s iconic Hadouken.

Director Kitao Sakurai steers away from gritty realism in favor of pure ’90s energy, showcasing a deadly conspiracy that forces fighters to confront their past. The star-studded ensemble cast includes Jason Momoa as Blanka and David Dastmalchian as the villainous M. Bison. Fans can expect a core storyline deeply tied to Ken and Ryu’s enduring rivalry.
