According to the great British weather system, it’s time we started thinking about autumn, like, stat. Okay we may have a few more sporadic warm weeks ahead but the new season collections are starting to trickle in and the cooler days are well and truly arriving— and we’re not mad about it. Ask most of us on the Who What Wear UK team and we’ll tell you that autumn is our favourite season to dress for. The layering, the rich colour tones, the trench coats… honestly, does it get any better?
Don’t get us wrong, we can appreciate the ease of throwing on a great dress in summer as much as the next person. But once you’ve cracked your autumn capsule wardrobe— we mean truly, wholeheartedly nailed it— we’d go so far as to say dressing for fall is just as simple. All you need is an edit of expensive-looking classics that you can mix and match depending on the occasion, and they’ll last you year after year.
