It’s hard to believe that just a few years ago, the League of Travelers was still in its infancy. At the start of 2023, only about 50 people had traveled with us. Last month, all-time enrollments passed the 500 mark.
But we’re still, in many ways, a niche operation, speaking to an extraordinary self-selecting community that shares our passion for big-hearted, off-the-beaten-path culinary adventure. Our style of travel is not for everyone, and there are plenty of good reasons someone may choose not to travel with us. But there’s one terrible reason that arises all too often: bad timing.
So when it comes to the 2027 trip calendar, we’ve decided to put the reins in our travelers’ hands. If you are interested in traveling with us next year, please fill out this short survey by April 21 to let us know where you want to go and when you want to go there. Of course, you can select as few or as many destinations and travel months as you want.
After the survey closes on April 21, we will get back to you with dates that meet your specifications and ask you to put down a $500 deposit to secure your spot before we announce publicly. If the trip goes forward, your $500 deposit will turn into $1000 toward the trip cost. If it doesn’t, we will of course refund your deposit.
We’re hoping that this new approach will help us build a calendar that’s better for everyone and give us the invaluable stability of early sign-ups. That in turn will enable us to offer the best possible experience at the best possible price, so that we can keep riding with you all into the next years and beyond.
