The new teaser trailer for A24’s The Drama is a reminder that it doesn’t matter how good a relationship might look from the outside — there’s always a lot more going on. In the new movie, written and directed by Kristoffer Borgli, Zendaya and Robert Pattinson star as Emma and Charlie, a young engaged couple. Per the official description, their relationship is put to the test when “an unexpected turn sends their wedding week off the rails.”
The Drama is one of four movies that will be featuring Zendaya in 2026, and easily the smallest in scope: She’ll also be playing Athena in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey and returning to two of her other big franchises: Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Dune: Part Three. Coincidentally, Pattinson will also be appearing in The Odyssey and Dune: Part Three, the latter as an unspecified role.
Mamoudou Athie, Alana Haim, Hailey Gates also star in The Drama, in theaters April 3rd, 2026. Check out the teaser trailer below. Also, Zendaya and Pattinson aren’t the only big stars to be featured in A24 movies next spring: Charli XCX and Glen Powell will also be hitting the big screen thanks to the distribution company.
