Bad Omens Unveil Melodic New Song "Impose"

Bad Omens have released the new song “Impose,” their second stand-alone single of 2025.

The L.A. band gets somber here, restraining its metalcore tendencies in favor of a more pop/R&B sound. A jittery breakbeat underlies the entire five-minute track as instruments and textures cascade in and out of the mix. The emotive singing of Noah Sebastian also remains a constant alongside the aforementioned breakbeat, and he keeps his voice tempered, never quite rising to a scream.

The single was accompanied by a cinematic music video that “follows a disorienting romantic all-nighter after a chance encounter at a nightclub,” per the band’s press release. Noah Sebastian directed the artful clip alongside Nico, capturing the moodier tone of the song in visual form.

Next up, Bad Omens have a pair of US festival appearances at Louder Than Life on September 20th in Louisville, Kentucky, and Aftershock on October 4th in Sacramento. Get tickets here.
