Kendrick Lamar’s GNX has been crowned the most-streamed rap album on Spotify in 2025.
Hip Hop All Day reports that Dot’s November 2024 album earned a total of 2.98 billion streams last year, surpassing the 2.16 billion streams of Playboi Carti’s MUSIC. Following the two are Tyler, the Creator’s CHROMAKOPIA at No. 3 with 1.66 billion streams, Kanye West’s Graduation at 1.50 billion streams and Lamar again with DAMN. earning 1.45 billion streams.
The bottom half of the top are made up of Doechii with Alligator Bites Never Heal earning 1.39 billion streams, Travis Scott’s UTOPIA also with 1.39 billion streams, Drake’s Views with 1.35 billion streams, La Flame’s ASTROWORLD with 1.31 billion streams and Metro Boomin’s Heroes & Villains with 1.29 billion streams.
GNX dropped in November 2024 and marked Lamar’s first release outside of TDE. It went on to top the Billboard 200 and is currently in the running for Album of the Year and Best Rap Album at the 2026 GRAMMY Awards.
