Pokémon has partnered with London’s Natural History Museum to launch Pokécology, a special pop-up celebrating the franchise’s 30th anniversary. Running from January 26 to April 19, 2026, the collaboration explores the ecological themes of Pokémon through curated exhibits and exclusive product releases inspired by scientific illustrations and the museum’s iconic architecture.
The pop-up shop, located at the museum’s Cranbourne Boutique, offers a wide range of limited-edition items, including art prints, stationery, apparel, pins, tote bags, posters and plush toys. Notably, visitors who purchase merchandise will receive a commemorative oversized Pokémon TCG promo card, “Pikachu at the Museum,” available exclusively at the event and select UK retailers beginning January 30, 2026. The collection draws inspiration from the Japanese publication Pokécology: An Illustrated Guide to Pokémon Ecology, which examines how Pokémon interact with their environments, from forests to caves, and adapts these ideas into artistic and collectible formats.
For fans unable to attend in person, select products will also be available through the Pokémon Center UK online store and the Natural History Museum’s online shop, which ships worldwide while supplies last. A portion of the proceeds from the collaboration will support the museum’s charitable initiatives, including scientific research and environmental conservation efforts. By blending Pokémon’s imaginative world with the museum’s educational mission, Pokécology offers both collectors and families a unique opportunity to celebrate nature, science, and pop culture in one immersive experience.
