Hardcore Supergroup Commitment Announce Debut Album, Unleash “DOG POUND”

Hardcore Supergroup Commitment Announce Debut Album, Unleash "DOG POUND"

A new Philadelphia hardcore supergroup named Commitment — featuring members of Soul Glo, Eyes Flys, and Le Siren — have announced their debut album, Fear Of. In advance of the LP’s April 3rd release, the band has unleashed the new single “DOG POUND.”

Commitment features Le Siren’s Tatiana Salazar on lead vocals, with Eyes Flys frontman Jake Smith on guitar,  Soul Glo vocalist Pierce Jordan on drums, and Zach Bailey on bass.

Regarding the first single, Salazar stated, “Simply put ‘DOG POUND’ is about revenge. It’s me giving myself permission to divulge in my violent fantasies towards men that deserve such treatment. I’ve been sexualized and harassed by men since I was a literal child.”

She continued, “I personally would love to see a world where the people subjected to the violence and fear of men match that energy and reflect it back to them. This song is for fans of Aileen Wuornos, ‘good for her’ horror films and anyone that’s ready to bite back.”
