Rockstar North, the British studio of Rockstar Games, has temporarily shut down after a “major explosion” at its Edinburgh headquarters, reportedly caused by a faulty boiler, according to the The Herald.
The incident occurred at around 5:00 a.m. local time on Monday, January 19th. No casualties were reported, though the building is said to have sustained structural damage.
Rockstar North is part of the development team behind the long-anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI. It’s unclear whether today’s events will result in any further delays.
