A24 has released the official trailer for Kristoffer Borgli’s The Drama, starring Zendaya and Robert Pattinson in the lead roles.
The upcoming film sees Zendaya and Pattinson as Emma and Charlie, a happily engaged couple going through the week of their wedding. During drinks with their married friends (portrayed by Mamoudou Athie and Alana Haim), they all share the “worst thing” they’ve ever done. For Charlie and Athie and Haim’s characters, their answers were met with laughter and slight disbelief. However, Emma’s answer causes a stir in the friend group, with Haim’s character evidently angry at what she just heard.
This puts a wrench in Emma and Charlie’s relationship, as well as their friend group, as the effects linger throughout the rest of the week. The wedding still seemingly pushes through, but of course, not without some drama.
Watch the trailer above. The Drama hits theaters April 3.
