Phil Collins, Oasis, Shakira, Wu-Tang Clan, Iron Maiden, Mariah Carey, Ms. Lauryn Hill, and P!NK are among the nominees for Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s 2026 class.
Other finalists include Joy Division/New Order, Billy Idol, Jeff Buckley, Sade, Luther Vandross, INXS, Melissa Etheridge, The Black Crowes, and New Edition.
To be eligible for nomination, an individual artist or band must have released its first commercial recording at least 25 years prior to the year of nomination.
Of this year’s nominees, Collins, Shakira, Wu-Tang, Hill, P!NK, Buckley, Vandross, INXS, Etheridge, and New Edition are on the ballot for the first time. Collins was previously inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Genesis in 2010.
The Class of 2026 will be announced in late April, and will formally be enshrined during an induction ceremony held in the fall. The inductees will be determined by an international voting body of more than 1,200 artists, historians, and members of the music industry, in addition to a fan vote on the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s website.
